Just getting back to the HQ after a day of doing rounds for the Godfather, Arizona walked down the hallway towards her office. Yes she has an office. It didn't take her long to pick up the ways of the business. Though she was actually quite impressed with herself to have been moving up as fast as she had. She took pride in it, which is why she always made sure to push herself beyond her limits and do whatever she could for the family.

She had recently been placed on making rounds to collect over extended loans. It wasn't the best of jobs, though it did have it's moments. Being able to beat someone to an inch of their life was a great stress release. It wasn't something she always had to do but if it called for it then yes she was happy to oblige. This go around it was quite easy, most of the people had envelopes in hand waiting for her.

Only thing she needed to do was get the books in order and properly sort all the cash. After a quick walk down the hall she opened her office door, threw her bag on her desk and pulled out all her collections. Sitting down she took out the loans book from her top drawer, opened it up and updated all the numbers. Placing all the cash in one envelope, she placed it inside the book got up and made her way to Pine's office.

Making her way down the long hallway to his office, Arizona could hear the chatter and laughter echoing down the hallway. It wasn't unusual to hear, in fact it was quite common. At the end of the day Pine and Liftoff were always in Pines office, having a laugh and a couple of drinks. Arizona kind of figured it was their way of winding down for the day. She smiled as she continued to walk, moments later coming to his open door. 

Standing in the doorway she knocked on the door, getting the attention of Pine.

"Ah, Arizona come in dear just the person I wanted to see."

Opening up the daily loan book Arizona handed the book itself to Liftoff and the envelope of cash to Pine.

"Was a good day, collected a couple of outstanding debts and then the usual." She said with a smile.

She watched as Liftoff flipped through the pages, Pine on the other hand didn't even look at the cash, he trusted her, he knew it was right. After a brief moment Liftoff closed the book and handed it back to Arizona. He gave Pine a look and a nod, signifying things looked good. Arizona smiled at the pair and turned around to leave, that was until Pine spoke up.

"Whoa, where are you off to so quickly? Come back here take a seat."

A tad bit puzzled by this, Arizona took a moment before answering him.

"Uhm, was actually just going to go run by the bar see how things were going but that can wait."

She pulled up a seat in front of his desk making sure to angle it just perfectly so she could see both of the guys. There was a brief moment of silence until Liftoff pulled out a key ring and began to swing it around his finger. There were a couple keys on it and every time he spun it they clanked together. The sound was driving her crazy, was just something about it that made her want to jump out of her skin. 

"Having fun over there?"

She didn't mean to say that out loud but it definitely slipped out. She quickly placed her hand over her mouth.

"I'm sorry, didn't mean to say that out loud."

Liftoff stopped swinging the keys and just laughed and laughed and laughed some more. Arizona glanced over at Pine who had a smirk on his face. By the time she turned around to look at Liftoff again he was in the midst of tossing the keys at her. She didn't have enough time to react to catch them but luckily they just landed right on her lap.

"Oh nice, I finally get a set of key to the HQ. Was waiting for these."

Liftoff started laughing again. Arizona turned her head towards Pine.

"What did you give him today that he just can't stop laughing?"

Pine shrugged but then smiled at Arizona.

"Well see those keys aren't for this HQ, they are for a different HQ just around the block."

"Oh so then why....."

That is when it hit her.

"Wait a second is this what  I think it is for?"

"Yes, I think you know."

A rush of emotions raged through her body, she turned a shade of red. This is something she was not expecting.

"So, you up for the challenge?"

With a big smile, Arizona rose to her feet.

"Uhm, yeah. I can handle this. There is so much I need to do, sorry I don't mean to be rude but I have some planning to go do. Thank you for the opportunity, I won't let you down."

TOL was in Detroit drink her life away in a near by bar getting so drunk so could barely walk on her two feet, She was enjoy a few games of drunken darts with a few bar flies she already won a few games. Now feeling confident she threw all her money onto the table and as she shout across the room for someone else to play against her. After a few good rounds of neck to neck competition she gained the lead and throw the last dart for the win. As she collected her money enforceable given a punch to the guys shoulder demanding her funds. 

She hear a noisy crowd outside and a few other stepped outside to see what was happening she decided to take a look for herself, A large group gathered as they announced a new family moving into town. She saw Arizona being given a higher position to take on her own family. The crowd began to cheer and shout a few whistles. TOL stumbled a bit to move past the crowd but as she did. She started to clap as she was a cheerful drunk very happy for Arizona and her new friend.

Crystalize took a short break from the work that had piled on top of her desk as she came up to Arizona and gave her a tight, warm hug. A bright smile splitting across her face as she slowly released the hug before holding out the basket of warm, Caramel Brownies.

"Congrats on the Auth, Deary, I know you'll do a great job in here in Detroit! Do us proud like I know you will! And if you ever want some fresh brownies, you know where to find me!"

She smiled brightly as she gave one last hug before giving the woman her brownies.

 

Pine laughed again at Arizona, before raising his glass to her departing figure, yelling after her as she left.

"Congratulations Arizona, you deserve it!"

Pine couldn't get much more out before he heard some doors slamming behind Arizona as she ran out the building in a dash. So he shrugged his shoulders and took a sip of his drink in her honor, making a mental note to send her a bottle of something for later on when she gained a moment.

Fresh out of his hibernation, TurkeyBear heard of news that a new HQ is being set up in Downtown, Detroit. Taking a long and warm shower before dressing himself up in one of his finer suits. Checking himself for the last time, he made his way to the square where everyone is already gathered and congratulating the new boss lady. Being a Don has it's perks, but TB preferred to blend in with the locals. Waiting patiently, inching forward a few steps at a time as the crowd infront of him start to thin out. Not before long, Arizona was beaming infront of him. With a warm smile and a gentle hug, TB gave her a little bow and a tip of his hat.

Congratulations ma'am. I look forward working with you to build our great city. If you ever need any assistance, don't be afraid to ask. I'm not that far away, just in Corktown guarding all the brownies.

With another hug, TB gave the newly minted crew leader one last smile before backing off, allowing others to give her their congratulatory wishes.

Liftoff laid out the line carefully, ensuring it was the way he had seen it done before.

"I always get so nervous right before we do this."

He closed off one side of his nose with his finger as he went down to snort. Before he was able to get anything the door started to open up and his reactions kicked in. Liftoff used his right hand to brush the cocaine off the table and his left went for the set of keys. He looked over to Pine.

"Show time."

Arizona's books were slid over over to him to look at. He went through them as he couldn't help thinking to himself that he didn't know what he was suppose to look for. He turned back to Pine.

"Looks good!"

Closing the book, he passed it back to Arizona. She grabbed it and proceeded to exit. Liftoff thought he had to stop her somehow and about threw something. Pine spoke up and she took a seat back at the table. (That was way better than what I was about to do). Liftoff brought the set of keys on the ring into Arizona's view and Pine hinted towards the reason. Spinning the keys in a circular motion with an aggravating rhythm, it became addictive. He glanced over at Pine to see he had given him the nod. Liftoff smiled but continued spinning the keys. (Oh, that was my cue! Don't fuck it up. Don't fuck it up! Don't fuck it up!!). He tossed the keys into the air and they landed into her lap. (YES, I did it!) Impressed with himself, he cruised through the rest of the event on auto-pilot. At the end, Liftoff approached Arizona.

"You will do well. Congratulations."
