Dave "Did Vinny leave your sight or your house durring that time Asha?

Staring straight ahead Asha answers the question.

No he never left my sight or house. 

I object,

Brusty goes to the stonographer and has the her say the line he's pointing at.

"I was indeed with Skinny_Vinny. I awoke to breakfast in bed made by him. Then we went to the beach for a game of volleyball which turned into a walk on the beach."

Did you go to the beach, or stay in the house all day. I move to have this witness' statements stricken from the record as she is clearly lying.

Dave stands up:

Your Honor Asha's house is on the beach and Asha and Vinny spent the entire day on her property. The point is that Vinny was with Asha the entire day not who's property they were on. Asha is a good citizen who has never been charged with any crimes. She is a solid citizen and her word is gold. Skinny_Vinny is innocent in these trumped up sock charges. He was with his friend Asha the entire day. He has no reason to steal socks. He is a business man who makes his money in the Casinos of Las Vegas.

Brusty stands up to interject and is hit on the head with a mallot. A man named Marco had stopped by and decided to set things straight. He whispered into the judges ear and the judge was ready to give his verdict.

For attempting to bring such heinous charges against the defendant, you're to be given a $50,000 fine.

Brusty gets up to interject again and Marco just hits him with the mallot again, this time in the nuts.

This ridiculous trial is over.

Asha smiles and nods at Skinny_Vinny as she leaves the courtroom. She never liked those places and couldn't wait to get out of it.

Slides an envelope to Dave. Looks around the courtroom and notices Asha on her way out

Thank you again Dave. If I need any help in the future I know who to call. I am gonna catch up with Asha and thank her for testifying for me in court.

Quickly walks up to Asha jogging a few steps

Asha wait. I got to thank you for everything. Without your testifying for me I could be in a prison jump suit right now. Lets go get some coffee or something.

Asha turns, tossing her hair over her shoulder as she looks up at Vinny.

You're welcome. Anytime you need help just give me a shout.

She smiles and ponders the thought of coffee.

I could use a break from work. Coffee sounds nice. 

A couple days later, Brusty hears a knocking at his door, a police officer is there and asks,

You wouldn't happen to know what happened to Asha, the dfendant's lead witness do you?

No I honestly don't, and I know this looks bad but I swear I didn't do it...

Brusty drives to Asha's funeral and leaves a rose, hoping the cops don't come after him on this sad day...

.....just wants her ducky sock back....

When Prodigy is about to make a run for it, after hearing an apparent sleep ridden Brusty he notices a Police vehicle driving very slowly. So he stutters you've caught me. Unknowing to him at the time that the Officer in the squad car was there to extort his daily donuts. When the Police officer confronts Prodigy, he shoots at the officer twice with his brand new 1931 Archer Revolver. He then dashes to his car, after leaving his pile of stolen socks behind at the scene.
