With all the craze about Go being out, has anyone decided to resume/start collecting the cards? Specifically the Generations set or Pokekyun. Maybe we can work out a deal if you're looking for trades. Also Pokemon Card general thread |

I haven't had pokèmon cards since I was 7. I had thousands too. My mom threw them out one day :( I wouldn't know where to get started collecting, nor do I know anyone collecting them atm. |

I have a large stack of pokemon cards somewhere. I'm pretty sure I've scavenged then at least once in the past for anything worthwhile, but I would be willing to make a list of my collection if anyone is really interested. |

Mine were all mostly first gen too. I had a couple holographics. I had a dope holo charizard I unpacked and my aunt gave me her mewto for my birthday one year. I wonder if I still have any. I'll look around today |

If you're not looking to trade, Crystalize, would you sell? Toby there are apps and lists available online for cataloging your sets, and if you need 9-pocket sheets to organize the cards in binders most comic book shops would sell them at around 25 cents a sheet. I use the ultra-pro platinums. The manufacturer sells them at about $20 for a box of 100. If you have some spare time you could dig them out and organize them based on set. They might be worth more in the future! Yeah go find those cards Morty. We gotta catch em all |

I remember having a dragonite and a blastoise. I wish I remembered where I kept them! I'll probably start rummaging the store over the weekends. Now I kinda miss em :p |

Coldoldgold I generally use tcgplayer.com. They have a pretty decent feature that lets you enter your entire collection and will price them all for you based on market value. |

I'll check that website out, Toby ! Thanks! I found some spreadsheets to help me organize the cards but I'll try tcgplayer as well for the pricing portion. I already pulled a Jolteon-Ex today that magicmadhouse is listing for 42 USD (was 30 a couple days ago and 40 last night) so I'm pretty happy.
This is what I am using to organize my cards just in spreadsheets, since it's Dropbox my girlfriend and I can sync and collect cards together and keep track of them, then when we meet up we can combine cards to complete the set.

Y'know, as much of a fan of Pokemon as I am... never really was into the card game all that much. I always preferred the handheld(s) or the show :x That being said... Just re-downloaded an emulator to play through the old-school games, that's been a blast!
Take it you all are playing Pokemon GO!? :3 |
