What do think is worse? in Colorado (and starting to get more popular in many states) we have MMJ (medical mary jane). I knwo many peple out there are agints one or the other, and some don't care eaither way. I wana hear what you think, medical wise, side effects, what and why you thik one or the other or both should be llgal or illegal.

I have delt with both, high school was 2 years of full expermenting untill I got kicked out.
For a long time I thought alcohal was worse than Marijuna, I still do think it has worse side effects. I have seen many of my friends (pothead/stoners) smoke buds everyday, and graduate high school early at that and move on to college with schollarships. I have never seen an alchohalic continue to drink and juggle life at the same time. Yes Im not sayying you can't sober up and pull your shit together, but while impared I think marijuna is more suitible. Where I have seen Marijuna tottaly ruin someone life, really is'nt because of the drug, it dose have small percentages, but the part that throughs it over bord is when the law steeps in.

You sir must have been stoned on both when you wrote this. You may have also needed to go to school for at least another 2 years.

Neither are healthy but alcohol in my opinion is the less harmful. I engage in drinking socially most weekends and I know people who have done this all their lives and remain unaffected. Marijuana however... I know a few people who do Marijuana socially and have done for a few years and it really spaces them out, not to mention the cravings. I know you can get addicted to alcohol, but it's far easier to become addicted to Marijuana in my opinion.

i would disagree cryptic i reckon it is easier to get addicted to alcohol than marijuana, i reckon 9/10 when someone is craving a doobie they are really having nicotine withdraws.

Since alcohol is legal Marijuana should.

In my opinion Alcohol causes death (from drunk driving), causes accidents.

When people are drunk they murder.

Yet when people are high on Marijuana what do they do sit home and eat.

No one has ever died from a Marijuana over dose( which is impossible to die from).

Yet millions of people have from alcohol. Which causes liver disease, and much more problems. 

To Cryptic. What you said MIGHT have been able to fly to someone that couldn't make sense of it. Maybe if it were even possible for marijuana to be addictive, your theory would be correct. However, there are no chemicals or toxins, this includes THC itself, that your body can become physically addicted to. The drive or one's ambition to smoke marijuana comes from a term called dependency which is a world of difference compared to addiction. Addiction happens when your body is having symptoms without having it. In other words, having side effects from withdrawals. You do not have physical dependencies or addictions to marijuana unless somebody is constantly putting other drugs in your weed, but then still it is the other drug that your body is craving. It is all mental. It is what's called a mental dependency. Cigarettes are far more addicting than any marijuana on the face of the planet. They are physically addictive. They are on the same level as cocaine and heroin. Sounds strange, but it is true. Now, on the subject of alcohol. I smoke alot of weed and I drink alcohol from time to time. I have never been, nor do I ever plan on being addicted to alcohol to the point to where I shake when I don't have it. Alcohol tears families apart, makes people violent.Oh and let's not forget that you can drink yourself to death from overdose. 86% of all fatal car crashes in the United States are alcohol related and 93% of all domestic disturbances including assault, battery, and disturbing the peace are ALL alcohol related. The fact that alcohol was made legal goes beyond my knowledge. So, i'm going to keep on smoking my bud, living a successful life which I do right now. And about you saying that your friends get spaced out when they smoke, that is probably true about the specific people that you had mentioned, but it has alot to do with the personality of that person in the first place. I am pretty confident that i am a pretty intelligent person and the first time I picked up a joint was when I was 8 years old. I am now 19 years old and still smoking strong..So HOORAH FOR ALL MY POTHEADS!!!!!!!!!!!
