Westbeef stepped off the train at Del Mar, Pasadena. Through squinted eyes and a saluting hand on his brow, he attempted to shield his face from the sharp beams of light from the rising sun. He noticed the clock on the wall showed 7:30 am. He had no money, no place to stay and no food to eat, Westbeef had to make money fast if he wanted to survive in LA. 

"Empty your pockets!"

Westbeef turned to petty crimes to  earn himself some fast cash, he was mugging, shoplifting and when he was feeling brave even holding up stores. It was never his intention to venture into organised crime, but when someone as respected in this area as Syn approaches you with an opportunity, you listen. Syn made an offer of protection, a place to stay and some valuable training in street-knowledge. On top of all this, more cash than your average person could ever dream of. It didn't take Westbeef long to make his decision, he sold his soul to the devil, he's now making a name for himself in LA with The Shadow Syndicate and the rest, as they say, is history...
