| Durden BG's for the Taking | Started by: WyattEarp on Aug 20, '16 13:04 |

As you search the rubble of the abandon houses and the streets of your city to find the last scum of the Durden Spawn that rolled through causing issues for the lady old ladies and their purses you come across what you are looking for. Pulling out your gun you raise it to put a cap in that Durden BG.....But wait, what do you hear...."Please don't shoot" I have a wife and kid. Well damn it so do you ... now you have a choice ... Take a father and husband or put his ass to work for you. .............................................................................................................................................. IDEA: What I propose is this. When a Durden family is spawned a small percentage of them come with the option of being turned to work for you, rather than to become fish food. As you pull the trigger on said BG you could get a prompt to let him work for you, or become fish food ... let us have the option. |

It sounds like a nice idea to me. I'm guessing the durd is keeping his name then, but what about special abilities? Will he be a normal BG, or will he be like... I dunno, not fighting those who used to be his friends (thinking of the Tyler raids) ? So you will not be able to train him. That would make better sense, I don't know what you think about it though :P |

To me he come and would be a normal BG to be trained and raise through the ranks of whatever is available to him |

Lol Squishy. But I think this is a nice idea! :) I do like the suggestion of them not wanting to fight those that used to be their friends, in the raids. |

I like the variety it would add, giving us more ways to obtain these bg's. Overall I like the idea, I think it fits in quite well with the rest of the stuff around MR. Adds a realistic role play scenario and all. |

A bodyguard should be loyal, he/she would owe you their life. They are sworn to protect you and follow your command no matter what that may be. Loyalty is big in the mafia world.. or at least it should be. |

I like this idea. It adds a little something to the whole "shooting BGs" proccess. Plus it will help some people to build some defence if lucky. I always found the rng element awesome in a game. |

I very much like this idea, actually. I do think it does fit well with some of the goings on already in game.
Hopefully this will be implemented in the near future. These new additions to the game make it bar-none above the rest. =) Great suggestions Wyatt! |

I would like to see something like this happen / seems like a reasonable request. After all even in really life we have turncoats. |

Even a 1 to 3 % rate of turncoats would be reasonable I think |
