HBO has a new series that is about to hit the air waves in Fall 2010 for HBO subscribers called Boardwalk Empire. It looks like an American mafia based series set in the late 1920's and early 1930's (same as this game). A Sopranos writer is involved, Directed by Martin Scorsese(director of Casino, Goodfellas and many other fine films).

This show should be fine entertainment and might also give players on this game a little more of an idea of the time period of this game. I look forward to checking it out. It looks like it will be a great series.

Definitely going to add this on my DVR. Scorsese directing with a writer from the Sorpranos this show is gonna be insane!

Haven't seen much of the Sopranos, so I don't know what tp expect from the writer, but when you have one of the most kcik-ass directors in film-making working on something, you know that it will be good.

I thought the ending was bloody brilliant myself...

I can appreciate why people were annoyed by the Sopranos ending. For the fanatical fans of the show who stayed loyal to it over the years, for the writers to say "This is how it ends, YOU figure it out" is a kick in the gut. I did like though how that last couple of minutes gave the viewer a feel of what it must have been like to be Tony Soprano, wondering who strangers were in a restaurant, what their intentyions were, and the constant paranoia that must come with being a Mob Boss.

Looking forward to Boardwalk Empire though. Anything with Buschemi in it is gold

Saw the full trailer for Boardwalk Empire this past Sunday. It is going to be badass
