The Great Feast Posse - They Bleed On Started by: CyborgVisas on Sep 03, '16 21:12

Anh enjoyed the day. She visited one bar after another, hoping to get news about her brothers and sisters who are conducting massive propagandas all over the popular cities of America. One bar she particularly likes is a hole in the wall known as 'Aces Three.' It's a small place, good for chilling and spending dough for little bets.

As she entered Aces Three, Anh carefully observed the surroundings. One must be observant, especially now that the wardogs have been unleashed against the 'Cause.' Upon spotting a familiar face, Anh relaxed. Waiting for him is a man - neatly dressed, finishing a cigarette stick, somehow tensed. Regardless, Anh sat with the man and prepared her thoughts.

"We are many. We are Legion. Maybe Project Mayhem will push through now, don't you think?" Anh spoke. The man offered her a cigarette.

"You are young, Anh. But you understand enough of our dreams and ideals. You've seen the world in its true colors. The bozos that are running everything? They will all go down in ashes. Then we will build a metropolis of dreams. Something better than what this fucking country has."

"Uh-huh." Anh watched as the puff of smoke drifted away from her mouth. "Many of us will die, Roger. I know our bros and sissies are rigging stuff in the front lines. They brought in the latest guns, hoping to take down these overlords. But...I'm somehow afraid."

"It's natural to be afraid." The man named Roger replied sternly. He leaned closer. "The package. Do you have it?"

Anh took out something from her overcoat. Bulky thing wrapped in manila envelope. Anh held it carefully and Roger treated it with the same level of respect. Truly, it's something that can turn the tides of the endless bloodbath. Roger was about to speak when he heard gunshots. He estimated that the shots were taken, a block away. Anh felt her heart jump.

"Get ready." Roger ordered and stood up. The remaining patrons of Aces Three scampered into a secret door in the back. The barkeep nodded at Roger and placed two grenades in the table. Roger gave him the secret package and told him to be careful. Afterwards, the barkeep left the place. Someone or something is coming. Anh drew her pistol and Roger did the same.

"They'll attempt to rip this place apart." Roger took the grenades and flipped the table, ready to use it as cover.

"They can try. We are ready."

About ten seconds later, the door burst open. A woman in a tight black suit entered. She scanned the bar and saw Anh and Roger positioned for the defensive. Before the visitor can speak, bullets roared and hit her in the arms, chest, and stomach. A clinking sound - like bullets against metal - became prominent. Nevertheless, the visitor pulled out a sawn-off shotgun (from a hidden compartment? Anh realized that the chaos happened all too fast) and blasted away.

Shredded! The force of the shotgun shells blasted half the table away. Anh was forced to crouch and Roger...his left arm was soaked in blood. He crouched beside Anh and took out a grenade. In one quick motion, he removed the pin and threw it on the bar counter where the visitor was hiding. The explosion rocked the whole place, shards and debris spraying everywhere.

Anh shrieked. Following the explosion, a blast knocked Roger to the floor. Dead. Most of his head was blown off into pink, fleshy tidbits. Anh tried her best to shoot, but she quivered. This is it. Death is coming. At least, the package is secured.

"You ruined my suit." The visitor approached. Her suit is, indeed, ruined. Anh saw that the impervious visitor is made of metal. What the hell? The explosion knocked few plates of her skin, revealing wires and throbbing bio-matter. What is this creature? Anh asked herself. As she looked closely, Anh realized that the creature looked like someone she know...Visas.

"Visas! A monster from beyond the grave!" Anh said, strongly.

"I am not her. I can't be compared to her legacy. Not even close. But, in a way, I was made to resemble her. Cyborg Visas. Now, Anh of the Great Feast Posse, you'll be no more. Your fate is sealed, the moment you entered this sad excuse of a bar."

Anh swallowed hard. The creature named Cyborg Visas aimed the shotgun at her.

"As long as our chain is unbroken, we shall live. We will always return." Anh smiled.

"Farewell."

Cyborg Visas pulled the trigger and blasted Anh in the chest, tearing her frail body. Anh hit the wall then slumped dead, her blood and flesh leaking to the floor. The Cyborg stared at Anh's corpse for few minutes, then felt the sparks of her damaged arm. It was painful, but not too painful. But she knows that if she's not repaired, she'll rot away. Just like the mere fragments of the cities. Every bit created, every fragment, must be repaired to some degree. There will be more Project Mayhems. More movements.

That's what makes the 'Life' exciting. The Cyborg left the shattered place with a smile.
