Curiosity had called her uppers to meet her in her office. The headquarters was fairly beaten up from the last 48 hours and they had lost so many in the chaos. She only had a few of her Made and higher left by her side now. These few would have to help rebuild the Chicago they once new. Yet, she knew both of them were quite capable of doing so alongside her and Nakamura. She was sitting in her chair going over the finances when a knock on the door made her lift her head up. "Come in." She replied and Senza opened the door. The two smiled at each other, but at the same time knew that even though this was a moment to celebrate, the reasons for it were also sad. Many lives had been lost. Yet, there was a time to mourn and that was not this moment. "I'm glad you got my message. Kurgan will be here in a bit, but that gives us time to talk about your future." Senza nodded and sat down in the chair before her. "You are one of the hardest working people I have ever met. Without you things would probably be a lot messier around here! You are kind and smart. With a knack for hauling in tons of work and drugs. Our business would be lacking a lot if it wasn't for you. Due to this I feel you would have a better opportunity in South Side than just being by my side. There you can teach people to do what you do and most likely flourish into something amazing. I hope you are up for the task?" Senza nodded and tried to hold back her excitement. Before she could say too much another knock came. "Come in, please." Kurgan walked through the door and greeted the two of him. He could tell Senza was ecstatic over something, but not sure what. During these times he didn't expect too many people to be smiling. "Senza just took up the offer to take over South Side, Kurgan. I'm sure you can agree she has earned this." He nodded and gave her a hug of congratulations. Then also sat down in front of Curiosity. "I will be moving to The Loop to take over leading this city, but I need great people to help me do it. People I can rely on and can help share the load. With that I will also need a strong leader with me. Do you feel you could handle setting up shop in The Loop beside me?" Kurgan was never one to say no, he would always do whatever was needed and helped the family out. "Anything for you." Curiosity knew this answer as it was a line he would tell her quite often. She had never know a loyalty like his and was beyond grateful for it. "Then everything is settled. You two will be on your way up. We have a long road ahead of us. I am glad to be doing it by your side. Nakamura, Senza, and Kurgan you are my light and strength, thank you." |

Senza smiles and looks at Curiosity. "I am very thankful you give me this opportunity, although I know I have worked hard for it. It's not always something you need to expect or will get granted." Then Senza looks over at Kurgan. "Lets do this!" Senza says after she hugs Curiosity and Kurgan and walks out to take a cab to South-Side. |

Nakamura was always late for meetings. It was something that he would end up making his signature move. Sort of like a well-placed Kinsasha to the face. He scurried through the door to greet Curiosity, Senza and Kurgan, but Senza had already left to visit her new home in South Side. With Curiosity and Kurgan still standing around in her office, Nakamura approached the two of them. "Senza's already gone, I presume? I'll send her some flowers and a bottle of Brandy." Nakamura reaches into his jacket pocket and pulls out a folded piece of paper. He unfolds the paper and places it on the table in front of the other two. He scribbles a few notes in addition to what he already has written on it. "Looks like we have a bit of work to do. I want you two to see what we have cooking up in the North Side. It is going to make us rich." |

Bonkers had landed in America some time ago now. To date all he had seen was bloodshed in the streets and a community falling apart - exactly what his mother had warned him of when he told her of his plans to sail from the old country. Sure, he'd made some friends and made some moves on his own, but here he could see a leader with real potential.
Senza, what an honour it will be to work for you - I wish you luck |
