TC leaves the prison for the first time in twelve years he was a free man again and he wanted to take back everything that was owed to him. First thing he needed to do to get back on his feet was pay an old friend a visit, Ray Thompson. He ran a barber shop now before TC was arrested they both worked together smuggling alcohol across the Canadian border. One of the reasons TC ended up behind bars was because of a job gone wrong with Ray they were pulled over by the cops because Ray wanted to take a shortcut the cops found the alcohol TC ran for it but was caught and Ray escaped.

Ray's barbershop why Ray became a barber TC didn't know. Ray had too much of the streets in him to go legit apparently he found religion or something and changed TC didn't really care he knew somewhere Ray was still a gangster inside. Word on the street was that this was all just a front for Evolution who used the place to launder some money and some other illegal activities. The place was just closing up Ray was just finishing up with a customer when TC walked in.

"Woah look what the cat dragged in it's TC." Ray said smiling " How long as it been? Ten years?"

"Twelve years in the can and you didn't even call."

"I called...a couple of times."

"Spare me your bullshit excuses I don't want to hear them I just want my money."

Ray loses his smile as the conversation got serious

"Look TC I respect you and we go back but I don't owe you anything."

TC looks Ray up and down.

"I did Twelve years for your fuck up and this is how you repay me?"

"TC what the fuck's the matter with you? What did I do?"

TC grabs Ray by his shirt

"You know what you did."

He throws Ray who hits his head on one of the barber stations and breaks a mirror

"YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID."

TC picks up Ray again and starts punching him leaving him coughing up blood along with a black eye.

"I want my cut every friday." TC said spitting in Ray's face "Don't forget or else next time will be a whole lot worse."

Sockpuppet needed a haircut. Okay, maybe just a nice wash. Sockpuppet walked through Detroit seeing a blue and red spinning cylinder. Ooh. I can get a wash and trim there. SockPuppet was in seeing a pool of blood on the floor with floating hairs and a man beating the shit out of a man's face into a pulp. Sockpuppet backed out, opted for icecream instead.

Anton was in a cafe when he hears a lot of commotion in the next door barbershop. Being a busybody as he is Anton decides to take a peek at what was happening. 

As he was looking through the window, he saw a familiar face. TC, the last he heard of him after the fall of Evolution was that he landed himself in jail. 

Anton walked into the barbershop and attempt to greet the now red faced TC who spat at Ray the barber's face.

TC! MY MAN. IT'S ME ANTON. 

TC leaves the shop and sees an old friend Anton_Giovanni- they used to work together a lot on a couple jobs before TC was in the can. From what he remembered of Anton he was a good kid when he remembered him younger, hungry, ambitious. Now a couple years later he's a man but he didn't have time to stop and chit chat TC had to go and meet with Evolve the boss himself later and he didn't want to be late.

"Hey Anton nice too see ya how long's it been?" TC said pointing to his watch "Listen I can't stick around I gotta go meet Evolve he's waiting for me we should catch up later sometime."

Evolve was outside a bakery he liked to hangout outside there mainly because the owner owed him money and also because he was banging the owner's daughter. Why they called him Evolve TC didn't know and he didn't question it either Evolve was the boss and you didn't want to fuck with him. It's been a couple years since TC last saw Evolve he was skinnier back then now he had a bit of a belly and smokes more cigars now then he used to back then and it's taken a big toll on his health.

"Ey look who it is!"

"The Top Cat is back baby!"

They greeted and hugged each other then sat down

"How long's it been?"

"Twelve years but you only do two days the day you come in-"

"And the day you come out!"

The two laugh and TC shares a couple of his stories behind bars about how he was the big guy in the pen and nobody could lay a finger on him they continue laughing until TC starts talking about "Business"

"So listen Evolve I've been thinking now that I'm out again I want to get back into the constru-"

Evolve gets up and leaves

"Hey man what the fuck?"

Wolfeschlegelstein Evolve's right hand takes his spot

"Listen we don't talk business here EVER got that? Interesting times if you know what I mean."

"Are you serious?"

"We're just trying to be careful nobody wants to do Twelve years again I hope you understand"

The crew was throwing a welcome back party for TC that evening at a place called "The Junkyard Lounge" don't be fooled by the name it was a real classy place for a strip club the mayor spent a lot of time here and the Governor would show up every now and then. For the first time in Twelve years TC actually saw a woman. He was sitting at a table in the corner of the club with two lovely ladies dancing on top of him he was enjoying the show.

TC looked round the club Evolve was here along with the rest of the crew and his right hand Wolfeschlegelstein he didn't recognize anyone else a lot of them were a couple of new faces that joined the crew while he was away in the can. He would make time to meet them all soon after he gets settled back into society. Evolve came over to congratulate TC along with a couple of other guys he was sorry about what happened at the bakery earlier but TC knew it was a precaution nobody wanted to do hard time. The ladies left but TC said he won't be long

"Welcome Home."

"It's like I never left"

"Some um.. listen about our conversation earlier I have some work for you it's a small time thing being that you just got out and all but swing by tomorrow at Joey's garage."

"I'm just happy to get some work in this economy."

"Tell me about it factories are closing everyday in this city I might just be the only employer around."

The men laughed then one of Evolve's bodyguards whispers into Evolve's ear about an important phone call that needed his attention

"Give me a minute I have to take this."

He goes to the other side of the club where the phone is and comes back with his face blood red looking like he's about to explode. Evolve picks up TC and takes him to the office.

"What the fuck is the matter with you?" he said with a vein popping out on the side of his head "You get one minute of freedom and you're already screwing shit up."

"The fuck did I do?"

"Ray Thompson the barber I heard you went to his place today and fucked him up real good the doctors are saying he's not gonna be able to walk again."

"He deserved it."

"Lets get something straight here I'm the boss remember who's running shit here. I can't have you running out here like some cowboy in the wild west beating up his old boyfriends."

Evolve gave TC a long stare down

"Don't let it happen again."

The two leave the office and get back into the club Evolve goes back to talking to some of the crew members and TC catches the eye of an attractive dancer they lock eyes for a moment then she makes him follow her into the back. It's been twelve years since he last saw a woman but he was home now and he had her for himself all night.
