"I'm so bored..."

Ubu heard as he passed a group of people standing on a corner. Boredom, something he'd been hearing people complain of a lot recently. He couldn't quite grasp how someone could be so bored with so much to do around the country. Circling back around to the group, Ubu walked up from behind them and yelled

"BOO!"

He wiped the smile of amusement off his face before anyone had the chance to capture the moment. He didn't like to be seen smiling. One of the people in the group had literally jumped, while a couple other of them were standing there rubbing their chests. Chuckling, Ubu began to speak to the strangers,

"Boredom, you say? Take a look around our whole country, Thugs. A new era has begun for those who know how to stay out of trouble. What are you going to do because you're bored? You're going to get careless. Going to forget the values to portray that could set you up later on in life. Well I say no! We will not lay down and be bored! What is it you folks are used to doing?"

Ubu got bombarded with an array of answers, 'Organized crimes' 'Sell drugs!' 'The hooker from 33rd and Franklin!' 'Hang around the HQ!' 'Make money for the boss!' The list went on and on. Sighing, Ubu couldn't help but to notice that a lot of the things people used to do to stay busy, were no longer an option. With so few Made Men roaming around, the opportunity for Organized Crimes had almost ceased to exist. There wasn't enough HQ space, yet, to warrant much 'official' work for the Families of these shores.

Ubu snapped out of his thought process and looked at each of the group individually. None of them looked like terribly much, on their own. And then Ubu's mental eye backed away from the scenario, and saw them as a group. As long as this group stuck together, they'd be fine. Deciding to impart the wisdom on them, he coughed before continuing.

"Don't lay down and die of boredom. Don't go around complaining of it, either. The opportunities in this new world are almost endless, for those who wish to reach for them. Find a group of people you can trust, and stay together. Find a common core of values and morals, and figure out some sort of hustle to make some money, but don't just stand around and complain. Get the fuck out there and make a goddamn name for yourself."
