Saturday afternoon, Yankee Stadium

Despite the great depression the place was packed, as it has been since it's opening in '23. On a game-day, 'the House that Ruth built', as people called it affectionately, showed the vibrance and diversity of New Yorks population. The roar of the cheers, mixed with the continuous chatter of the hispanic wives who always tagged along with their husbands was deafening. Rob offered some of his Dunville's, that was smuggled into the country last week, to Christian.

"This part of town is thriving. It would be worth our time to invest in it and spread our influence on this side of the river." Rob mentioned.
"That's not a bad idea." Christian responded. "Having contacts in yet another harbour would also be good to divert some of the European shipments to. We've seen increased federal activity in the Manhattan area, since we shook things up there."
"Mmm, I've noticed the same thing in Brooklyn." Rob said. "I'll make sure to put some more pressure on Jim Howe."

The two men jumped up from their seats and cheered as Earle Combs hits a home-run for the Yankees and the stadium exploded in celebration.

Thursday night, Allerton's Speakeasy

The poorly lit venue was crowded with a mix of shady figures, sailors and all kinds of civilians who had little regard for prohibition laws. The pianist stopped playing, as soon as he saw the determined look in Rob's eyes who had put a hand on his shoulder before making way for the bar. A few sturdy associates cleared a path and the chatter subdued as people realised tonight would offer something different than the usual chatter. Having all eyes on him, Rob stayed quiet and surveyed the audience a bit before he started to speak:

"Fine people of the Bronx. My name is Rob Oakheart and I run several businesses across town. Businesses that allow for huge profits. I believe the Bronx is a perfect candidate for similar profitable ventures and therefor I would like to offer my guidance and resources to motivated businessmen and woman who are up for a challenge here in this part of New York.

To make the Bronx flourish, I offer the following:

First, investments into property purchases to house your business.
Office space will accommodate to a maximum of 20 employees. This amount allows for employing diverse talent and plenty of generated income. The limitation ensures that leadership will be able to give dedicated attention to their employees, to enable them to do wonders for the business. Quality over quantity is the aim.

Secondly, guidance and partnership
While the business is grown to maturity, I will offer my resources and guidance to allow for a stable and successful growth of your business. You will learn how to motivate your employees, how to properly secure income and how to operate well in this challenging world.

Thirdly, going national.
Business partners who have proven to be excellent at what they do are offered the opportunity to grow national and allow their business to grow in one of the open cities of the country. That is of course if they are motivated to do so.

Interested candidates should come find me and present their motivation and their ideas for running a business in the Bronx. Each application will be reviewed and the candidates who impress me and my business associates the most are given their chance. At this point I am looking to support a maximum of 2 businesses. Dependent on how the country develops, that number might change in the future.

I will be here for a while, trying out the bartender's offerings and answering any of your questions."
