I've heard a fair amount of people go on about how the slots are a waste of time and money. I Disagree with that. I had a really rough time not too long ago, lost all my money to dice, i just couldn't resist those 250k swaps. Well long story short i'd blown through my money and i was down to a little over 1k left. So i said the hell with it, i'll play slots.

Well i placed my pathetic 1k slot bet and wouldn't you know it? I won 2k! Well that 2k wasn't going to get me very far, I knew i had to be smart with it. So of course i gambled it in blackjack. I was able to win two 2k blackjack bets in a row. Then a 5k! I now had just shy of 11k. It was time to hit the dice again.

I started safe, a 10k swap, won a few thousand. Now For a 10k tops, won one, two, three, lost one. Then i won a few 25k swaps, then 50k, until finally i was back up around 250k again. I Couldn't blow it this time, surely a 250k swap would help me out right? Absolutely. I won 200k on the swap putting me at about 450k. I then proceeded to win 250k tops bets until i had reached around $2,500,000.

The point to all this is that when you're extremely desperate and down on your luck, the slots can be a blessing.

The_Major walked down the streets of the strip in Las Vegas when he heard a man talking to himself outside a casino, he seemed like the happiest man on Earth with a big smile and sharing his happiness with everyone else. He was talking about how he won quite a fortune by gambling, this annoyed The Major as he himself had quite a record with casinos. Memories came back of a time when he was the exact opposite of that, back when Major was not in the mafia business, with a clean record just an average Joe in Detroit where he had been born...  Back when he there was nothing to worry about, the entire country was booming with a strong economy and he spent night after night partying and drinking until his grandfather died. At that point his life changed, because his grandfather who was indeed in the "Business" left The Major a massive fortune. He cashed out and went right to Vegas to have the time of his life, but that didn't last long. Withing a week his entire fortune, more than people could dream of was gone. And now, he was back at the same place, this time in a different situation, the man he was looking at was his polar opposite, he started from almost nothing and managed to gather quite a fortune in a single day.

"Money comes, money goes" He thought to himself as he came back to reality. Fortune wasn't made for all of us, specially in a place like Las Vegas. For the Major, gambling was something that just couldn't happen again in his life. He thought relying on this thing called "luck" to get somewhere was absolutely unacceptable. It was hard work and dedication that could give you a better chance of making your dreams come true.

Stepping out of a limo with cash falling from the cracks of the door falling into the street surrounded by beautiful women and with pictures of slot machines blackjack and dice playing in my head

I completely agree as I have been there myself Slade. Down on my luck with nothing but a drink and hope I myself have hit it big a time or two and made fortunes from nothing but then blown it.. hell of a story..

Walking over to the entrance of the casino he looked around at the street entertainment and threw a few coins at the homeless bum on the corner

I say gamble on friends as life is short and as my old friend Veliotis would say

"Life is a gamble"
