While a big party was going on at an event on the iconic strip in LV I decided to walk off to the side and up a nearby flight of stairs. They were nice and visible and the crowd was close by making it easy for everyone to hear. Some faces I noticed and others I did not...I seen a few politicians as well so I knew this had a shot at making the papers which is what I wanted.

"Excuse me everyone can I have your attention for a moment?."

The crowd turned and faced my direction.

"I notices some familiar faces out there... but this speech is for everyone. Years ago my father opened a Hotel known as Pure Paradise Hotel and Casino right here in Vegas. The reason for me speaking today is to thank everyone... not just in Vegas but from all over who have kept the place alive and made it as iconic as I know my father would have wanted it to be. He opened the Hotel to make everyone no matter if they were rich or in poverty feel luxurious... even if it was for one night. Made it a dream escape so no matter what the day or night threw at you there was always a place to go and forget the troubles. There were plans that I had set for the Vegas location to be shut down as my hometown is Philly. Now that being said the Hotel will open in Philly as planned but after thinking about it for some time I decided the Vegas location will live on.

I will be managing both locations, however I am looking for someone to step in as the GM for the Vegas location while I will return to my hometown of Philly to hopefully both continue and start a legacy. Hopefully in time this Hotel will be nationwide but for now I will focus on Vegas and Philly. I want to also thank the men who helped my father get the hotel off the ground. Koehler may he RIP, CloverLuxille may she RIP... she also played a big part on a lot of my Father's success. JoeyOblose may he RIP. All relatives in Jezebel's family for their support. And of course all the guests who made the Hotel known.

So a toast to all of you and may Philly's Pure Paradise hotel be as successful as the one right here in Vegas."

I walked down the flight of stairs hoping to run into my fathers former friends and also to hear from the people I knew.

"I'm cashing out!" I told the dealer then asked my driver to handle it. I was on a losing streak, a bad gambler, and when my driver whispered to me that the owner was making a speech, I decided it was time for me to end my gambling for the night. And besides, it was 11pm. The cock fights in Paradise would start at 1am. That would be a great way to begin my gambling day. Maybe lady luck would go and decide to side with me.

I headed to where KL was delivering his message and joined the gathering crowd. KL was telling everyone the history of Pure Paradise and I can't help but remember my mother.... Clover! I remembered my mother telling me about Hotel Elegance in Chicago then Pure Paradise!

Now, KL is opening the same if not more grander, a new hotel in Philly. I can't help but remember Uncle Koehler who was too fond of pineapples. He once told me when he visited our home.... "Go find the unicorn and the pineapple! Chances are, you would find both. Then tell me where they are and I'll give you a Benjamin!" Luckily for me, I know the unicorn and I know where the pineapples are. And when I told Uncle Koehler about them, he got too excited and left quickly. Sadly, I didn't get a Benjamin that day.

Anyway, KL brought back memories of childhood. Parties my mother hosted and her friends he came to meet.

"Good luck on your new venture KL! Just to warn you, I will be a regular visitor at your Philly Hotel! So make sure you have vodka always available and the schedule of cock fights at hand!"
