Each time I log in to irc after about 30 secs it disconnects me. I have been using it successfully up until a day or two ago. Any suggestions please?

Nothing obvious jumping out at me from what you've said.

Are you connecting using the java client (link through the game) or another client (mIRC etc)?
Any sort of error message when you're being disconnected?
Anything change in your set up (new firewall, etc etc) since it was working ok and now?

Connecting using the link in the game.
No obvious error messages. Just the usual blurb that comes up on screen.
Have just downloaded java again so will re register nicks and try it again.
will get back to you if that works
