Not sure how everyone will feel about this idea, but I think it might be neat if, occasionally, people would witness people training their gun in this way.

For instance, you might get a personals message like this: "You saw So_And_So walking into a shooting gallery."

Just to add a little spice, and another way to tell if someone's training their gun.  It seems like this is something you're more likely to see while on a stroll then a shooting.  Let's hear it--What do you think, guys?

Secondly,Yes I do agree that this is more likely to happen as I am walking down the Street but then will I pay any real attention to something as a person walking into a shooting gallery, I will rather be focused on seeing if the drug dealer is around or if the cops are after me. So, overall, bad idea

Ahh, yeah, my bad.  You're right.  I LOOKED for the suggestions forum, but now I see that it's over in the help seciton.

Anyway, I have to counter your point about not watching for things like that by saying that if you were on the street and you saw a gangster from another family, damn right you'd be watching them very closely.  And if you're concerned at all about who might be a threat from an opposing family (just as WSs are mostly used for), you'll definitely notice if they duck into a shooting range.

Then people will have to take into account more where they are ranging; like they might be more prone to use the shooting range in their home city, so hopefully a friend will be the witness.

If there are any shooting galleries which mobsters would frequent they would be very private and you would not know what they were doing there.

And, it only says shooting range. It does not say public shooting range. It could be a building in the middle of nowhere that you've hired for the day so that nobody will know what you're up to etc etc.

I have to be perfectly honest here and say I am about a million times more likely to notice (either hearing or actually witnessing) someone being shot in the city than I am to care about any shooting ranges.

Bad idea, in my opinion.

I like the idea. Obviously it would have to be people in the same city, as you're not going to be able to SEE across the cities. If you were watching closely, or knew where these training places were, it makes perfect sense that you'd see people coming in or out. There probably wasn't that great sounds insulation back then, it would be kind of hard to muffle the sounds of constant gun shots.

Ok I must say I do not like to think that others can see us go to the range in our home city, but if there are WS sent out why not make it when you do a range outside of your home city?
