Philly 7:52am

It was a sunny day, not a cloud in the sky. I could have thought of a million things to do but business was business and this was long overdue!. I had received a tip from a friend of mine that the guy who ratted me out to the feds 10 years ago was eating breakfast at a place called Tony's Diner in Bella Vista, PH.

I drove down to the Diner and made a call to Luxuria from the phone booth across the street. I needed someone I could trust and she was always reliable. I sat and waited for her to arrive as I kept a low profile. I sat on the bench next to the phone booth and was pretending to read the paper. I could see a guy inside sitting at the counter all dressed up acting like a big shot.

I continued to focus on the paper as I knew Lux would get there quick. I told her to meet me on the bench across the street so I could give her his name to make sure it was him.

Minding my business sitting at home doing the regular stuff.

When all of a sudden  I get a phone call. I pick up the phone and on the other end I hear KLs voice on the other end. He seemed like he was anxious. 

He asks me to meet him across the street from Tony's diner.

"Right away KL I'll be there in 5 mins."

Walking down the street I see KL sitting on the bench across the street from the diner.

"What's going on KL. Everything ok?" 

Still holding the paper in front of my face I reply to Luxuria "Take a seat next to me and act like you don't know me." She sits down and lights a cigarette and faces forward as I give her the details on the situation.

"So right now the guy who put me in prison 10 years ago is sitting across the street in that diner eating breakfast. At least I think he is...I got a tip from a friend of mine. Guy's name is Frankie G. He is a self proclaimed ladies man... he might make you puck with his pick up lines but I'm sure you can handle his charm. Anyway head over there and see if it's him... if I get the word it's him come back to this bench and keep a look out. I will swing around the side door of the place. Got everything?."

Lux exhales smoke from her mouth and says "Yep".

"Remember Lux he's a real loudmouth... an asshole, so hold it together ok?... give me the word if its him."

I watch as Lux walks across the street and draws close to the diner.

While walking across the street, I start to fix my shirt and hike my skirt up a little to show some goods.

I walk in the diner, seeing him look me up and down.

I take a seat a few stools down from him. I see him slowly start to move down closer towards me.

"well, hello doll the names Frankie, I was feeling a bit lonely until you walked in."

I looked at him and smiled. "well I'm sorry to disappoint. But I just came to get a slice of pie to go." I winked at him and slowly walked away.

Walking out the door and across the street. I sit kept to KL with my back turned a little towards him and I lit up another cigarette. 

"it's him KL, even tried to pick me up...you owe me."

Now knowing it was my target I feel a sense of rage as 10 years of anger had been building. I look down while sitting on the bench and grab the cigarette from Luxuria's mouth, after inhaling the smoke I exhale it slowly. I then give the cigarette back while keeping my head down and reply to Lux. "yea...I owe you."

I stand to my feet and walk towards the side of the diner. I take a deep breath before walking in the door, once inside I walk though the kitchen and out into the diner where I catch a side angle of Frankie. I reach for my gun which was located in the rear of my pants. As I point the pistol at Frankie he yells "SHIT" as he slides back his stool to stand. Everyone else ducks quick as I fire the first shot it strikes Frankie in the shoulder making him trip over his stool and land on all fours. Second and third shot is fired striking him in the back, by this point he is coughing slightly and he crawls towards the wall on the side of the diner. He pulls himself up on one knee while clutching the wall with his left hand, two more shots go off. One followed by a brief pause then the second, both shots in the body. He manages to turn and face me while sitting against the wall. A pack of cigarette's fall out of his suit pocket. He slowly grabs one and puts it in his mouth slowly but could not find a light. I fire one last shot which strikes him in the forehead as he slumps over. I put my gun back in the rear of my pants and walk outside and straight for my car.

"Lux get in!... were going to the Hotel, got something I need to give you."

With a complete shocked look on my face in quickly jump in. As I sit there I look at KL as he tries to catch his breath. I lean back on the seat with a cigarette in my hand lightly puffing while still looking at KL.  

"So we're going to the hotel. I could use a drink after seeing that."

We arrive at the hotel as I walk straight to my office with Luxuria right behind me. I take a seat, lean back and take a deep breath "I'm sorry for being so quiet on the drive over...10 years is a long time to have to wait to get revenge. Anyway I know there are plans being prepared here in Philly, no need to speak on the details but I have something for you!."

I walk over to my safe and twist the knob three times punching in the passcode. I open it up and grab a black bag and place it at Luxuria's feet "8 million!... you know what to do with it!, I appreciate your help and don't worry I will return the favor when the time comes."

I sit back down at my desk and light up a cigarette.

"I would tell you to count it but we will be here for days, but trust me its all there."

"KL we've been though alot so I knew you would be quiet after that." 

Whalen sitting there in the chair having a cigarette, KL returns and places a bag at my feet with cash bursting out. 

My jaw dropped to the floor as this would help a great deal with something coming to Philly.  

"KL, what!?...how!? This is way too much."

Lost for words not knowing what to say, I just look at KL still trying to gather in my head what's going on. 

"No need to say anything Lux, just do the right thing with it...I know you will so I'm not worried."

I take a drink then pour another for myself, I then reach for another glass and pour one for Luxuria as well. "Remember I owe you Lux... you said it on the bench. That money was here before I called so I got a better idea to make it up to you. Get dressed up nice and tonight I will treat you to dinner, anywhere you want to go."

Still there in the chair still in complete awe, leaning forward grabbing her drink that KL poured and taking a large gulp.

"I have the perfect way to spend it." looking at KL and winking.

While I sit there, thinking of the perfect outfit.

"Surprise me, you know what I like." Smiling once more at KL

Talking to KL for a while longer, talking about what happened and the hotel and future plans. I then get up from the table look at KL give him a nod.

"Ok well im going to get ready, where shall I meet you?"

"Meet me in the foyer tonight at 7, and no worries I'm going to take you to the best restaurant in town... and no it's not here". I chuckle a little after making that comment. Luxuria walks out of the office to get ready.
