The betrayal Started by: Claude on Oct 10, '16 20:03

Wherever Claude went trouble always followed him growing up he was the neighborhood troublemaker kids would try to pick on him but he was the bully's bully. He gained a reputation and became the king of the playground as he got older he fell in with a couple of bad people he met a chick and they formed a crew hitting banks all across the Midwest St.Louis, Detroit, Kansas City, and today Chicago.

It was supposed to be a simple job it was early in the afternoon when all of the security guards were busy having lunch. All they had to do was walk into the bank ,wave the gun around, and leave richer than they were before. That was the routine for a good couple of months until today when his partner shot him and left him for dead.

"Sorry babe I'm an ambitious girl and you.."

Bang

"You're just small time."

One thing he learned that day as he was stumbling around the alley was never trust a woman with a gun. No matter how much she loves you, she's a still crook and will turn on you in a blink of an eye for her own gain.

Claude tried his best not to pass out he was bleeding pretty badly and barely holding on trying not to die. He thought this was it until he bumped into a man who tried to helped him.

"Woah what the fuck happened to you?" the man said looking Claude up and down "Christ that looks bad come with me I can get you some help."

The man carried Claude into the back of his car, it was a Blue 1932 Ford Model B. He looks around making sure there aren't any cops around and starts the car.

"I'm guessing you didn't get that from falling down some stairs I'm not taking you to a hospital they might ask questions..., No I know a guy over on the South Side who handles these types of things."

He looked at Claude in the rear view mirror

"The name's Brotherherc by the way nice to meet ya"

Claude woke up in a shady doctor's office dirtier than the alley BrotherHec found him in. The doctor was closing up the stitches on Claude's chest he was shot twice in the chest with the bullets just missing his heart he was lucky to be alive.

"There ya go good as new."

Claude stared at the doctor

"Not much of a talker huh."

Claude said nothing he wasn't much of a talker. He was a man of a few words he only talked when it was necessary and he didn't really enjoy making chit chat especially with people he didn't know.

In the doorway Claude saw BrotherHec standing looking Claude up and down.

"I'm guessing you didn't get shot because you sell insurance." BrotherHec said lighting a cigarette "I could use a guy with skills like you." BrotherHec hands Claude a piece of paper with an address on it.

"Swing by if you're looking for some work."

BrotherHec took one last look at Claude, paid the doctor and left. Claude didn't know who BrotherHec was or what he did. He was just new in town in fact he didn't know anyone in Chicago. It wouldn't hurt paying BrotherHec a visit Claude thought as he put on his clothes he could use some work now more than ever.
