By the time New York was attacked, they had lost most of their big hitters due to whackbacks and such.

Never been called a "wackback" before, not sure how to take it. A compliment I guess.

But on a serious note, by the time they were attacked, I can only recall one major loss due to the fatal 1%.

Roman faced many families and survived in the last war. Just goes to show, perhaps with enough planning instead of wasting your shots on anyone in your locals as did the older New York regime had done, you might just stand a chance of survival.

This already exists.  Its called "BG wacking."

BG whacking is nothing even close to the same. Up until the recent war with New York, there wasn't really any hardcore BG whacking, because it wasn't needed.

"?Never been called a "whackback" before, not sure how to take it. A compliment I guess."

So, you're saying that there weren't deaths in New York that hurt their hit squad before they were attacked? Or that Deimne was in bed at the time of the attack and it took many hours of BG shots for him to be taken down? As I stated before, the assailants had a lot of luck or devious planning on their side to time their strike when  he went to bed. Which, in my opinion is a dirty move.

Also, if you look back a bit further, Lucretia_Borgia, possibly New York/Philly''s second/first biggest hitter whackbacked and was then 1%'ed. Before New York was attacked, they lost many good men and women that would have made the assault much larger. So, back to my original point, if they had still been alive and able to defend New York, it would have been nigh impossible to take them out.

Ehem. ...that would have made the assault much harder.*

A few things. Well, mostly all of it.

Working BGs have just become a major part of this game at this stage. Players with more BGs than they really know what to do with. With the way we get to live for months on end, its no surprise really for massive BG counts to counter the massive kill counts we are seeing.

As I stated before, the assailants had a lot of luck or devious planning on their side to time their strike when he went to bed. Which, in my opinion is a dirty move.

So you think it's a better option to war someone in the light of day? Perhaps schedule it then. We should have called Deimne, told him we wanted to war, given our reasons to him so that they could have been reviewed. Then, picked a suitable day when he had all the time in the world to get on with it.

I really don't know what to say to this last comment of yours. Perhaps if I didn't wackback die years ago, there may not even have been a New York to begin with.

Nothing is ever impossible. Just a little time and effort put into your planning makes a world of a difference. Though, any and all luck is greatly appreciated.

When you are dealing with a friend, you should at least have the courtesy to attack when he's online. That, in my opinion, is why most people dislike you for betraying New York. It's not the fact that you betrayed them, it's the timing in which you did so. It was like a spit in the face to everyone you had ever worked with in that city.

Working BGs is not at all a large part of the game, because people will just get kill counts in the thousands and there is no way anyone will be able to keep their bodyguards trained up fully while buying new ones. It's rather simple. This game has never and will never be based around bodyguard shooting unless it's harder to get kills.

Notice, I said nigh impossible. Not impossible. Therefore, it would have been extremely difficult if you had attacked New York like a real man. >.>

Very interesting. You do realize I am the one still standing? You war to win for whatever your reasons may be. There is no such thing as being courteous when it comes to making decisions that have a devastating effect.

Being disliked is not an issue either. Those that matter to me understand this very basic concept. Those who were on the other end of the stick realize the same. Were you influential on whichever side you stood on? Did you take any tough shots? Do you realize the amount of effort that was put in and should be put in to executing something as big as that war.

Proper planning. It all boils down in being as effective as possible with what you have. Grin put the pieces together and we made it work. To think that giving people who do not work as hard as others to achieve a goal in being able to properly kill off their given targets is rather ridiculous.

Buddy system wacking? Really? Your buddy system is getting your buddies in a room and effectively letting them know who's BGs to work, which targets are priority and which "offliners" should be left alone. Concepts that many of you fail to understand. Now without giving you a lesson in "how to war", you should realize that there are many other factors that should be taken into consideration without having someone to hold your hand and pulling the trigger to increase your chances in getting one kill that wont make a difference to the big fish.

Now I do welcome all these "real men" that you speak of to try and make difference. Would be interesting to see how that tactic works out for you.

After what the GF has stated, I really can't say much. He's covered all the bases in my mind. But even I can't avoid a good idiot bashing.

What you fail to understand, and if you were ever let into a Hit squad...its never about juck "clicking and killing" its about how you go about achieving your goals with the least amount of casualties. If you knew anything about war planning, you wouldn't be out here talking about "OMG you killed me in my sleep." We did what we had to do in order to keep the casualties low. To the extent that even after the bloody war, we gave quarters to all non hitters/aggressors. Our problem was with certain bigheads and we dealt with them. I think on numerous occasions we have mentioned that Deimne was never a target, but it just had to be done.

In short, its about hitting the opposite side when they least expect it so you can minimize your casualties...otherwise wars would be announced in the streets and battles fought with every member on the site online.

Going into that war none of us expected to walk out with a guaranteed win. If we talk about previous accounts and sadly 1%'s there would have been numerous other guns that would have still been alive for the challenge. So no point in re-hatching a past that couldn't have mattered either way.

I mean...last i checked the ghost of xxx didn't come back to change the path of war.

And i take it you saw TheDean walk down the streets of NY with a skirt on and high heels? Your just bitter that you were on the opposite side and didn't get the first opportunity to attack (given you were someone in the upper structure, which i highly doubt from your incoherent conversation). Bottom line is most wars are usually won first wave (if you even understand what that means) and quite simply the late ThomasRourke said it best "On any given day, anyone can be taken out" all thats required is flawless planning, dedication and execution. But alas, you wouldn't know anything about that....I mean its a man's game to play with blood not a dumb childs!
