Philly, 5:20pm.

It had been 2 days since the attempted hit, I rested and let the wound heal on my leg. I could walk but I had a hell of a limp, I never expected it to be easy, however I did expect revenge and as soon as possible!. Luckily MrGanja found the shooter a day later, being smart about it he followed him to his hideout and observed what he did while I was recovering. I got dressed before heading out, black suit, black trench coat and a black fedora.

I got in my car and drove to where Ganja was stationed, it was little ways down the road from the guys home which was nestled out near the water all by itself. As I pull up side of his car he asks me if I need help. "Its ok Ganja, head back to the Hotel I got this. The Senator is having a celebration party at the Hotel, he took Senator Jenkins spot due to his unfortunate passing." Ganja looks at me and laughs, "yea unfortunate". I look at him in a serious look "yea I know at least act like it was unfortunate, anyway I have to give a speech at this party so after this ill be there." Ganja takes off as I proceed up the road to the house.

Grabbing the shotgun from the passenger seat I hide it as best as I can in the trench coat. I get out of the car and make my way towards the door. Halfway there it starts to downpour as my coat and hat get soaked, as I reach the door I get shielded from the rain due to the roof that covered a small porch in front of the door. I knock hard 3 times, the guy yells "Who is it?." With my head down I think quick "The police sir!... we are looking for a missing child, you have any information?".

He opens the door with his right hand still hanging on to the knob. I lift my head slowly with a sadistic smirk, and water dripping off the brim of my hat. When he sees my face he attempts to shut the door quick, I place my left leg, which was the good leg in the doorway which stops him for shutting the door all the way. I pull the hidden shotgun from the trench coat and fire 1 shot, it strikes him in the chest blowing a chunk of the wood door off as well as sending him a few feet back. Blood begins to leak in the cracks of the wood floor forming a pool as I stare down at him. I pick the man up and carry him to the water, I toss him in along with my shotgun and watch for about a minute as he floats off. I then light a smoke and on my way back to the car I toss the cigarette on the porch setting the house on fire.

I then drive off for the Hotel.

Pure Paradise Hotel, 6:40pm

As I arrive to the hotel I walk straight for the ballroom where the party was. Once at the door a worker offers to take my coat, I hand him the trench coat and ask him to please send it to be washed. I take off my soaked suit jacket and request for that to be washed as well, I then roll up the sleeves of my dress shirt and limp towards the front of the room. On the way to the front of the room I pass Luxuria and Rose, I give them both a wink and stand at the very front of the room for my speech.

"First off everyone I apologize for me being wet, I got caught in the rain. Anyway I want to congratulate Senator Burns for taking Steve Jenkins place, his passing was unfortunate and I send my condolences to his family."

As I am about to continue I lock eyes with Lux and Rose, I then shift my attention to Luxuria only before continuing.

"Loyalty... what does it mean?, for everyone it's different!. Some are Loyal to the people, I say that from a political view, others loyal to friends and almost all are loyal to family!. I'm sure a lot of you heard what happens to me 2 days ago, no need for details but family and loyalty is the importance of my speech today. We all have limited time here, depending on what you do for a living you may have less time. That's why ladies and gentlemen all I can say is don't waste time, follow whatever it is you want and take it!... enclosing I give congrats to the new Senator, cheers!."

People clap as I walk of stage and walk right for Lux and Rose, down on one knee I take out a small box and open it in front of Rose, it was a beautiful bracelet. Rose stared at me with watery eyes as I looked back at her "wear it always sweetie!, I promise I will never leave you, but as long as you have that I am always with you!."

While still on one knee I pull out one more small box and shout "LADIES AND GENTLMEN YOUR ATTENTION". Everyone looks at me.

"As I said, don't waste time, family... loyalty are the important things in life, go after what you want!."

With the crowd watching I look at Luxuria and ask a very serious question.

"Luxuria...will you marry me?."

As I stand there looking down at KL as he opens the small box that revealed a ring, my first reaction was to just cover my mouth while my jaw just hangs there. But I just stood there with tears running down my face. I look down at Rose as a huge smile comes over her face, she grabs my hand and says "Say yes mom" My heart filled with warmth.

I look back to KL, while my hands being to shake. "Yes! KL I will marry you!"

I drop to my knees, looking into KL's eyes with tears still streaming down my face. He places the ring on my finger, I grab his face to pull him in and give him a kiss.

As everyone claps The Senator walks over to me and says congratulations, while I shake his hand and thank him I pull him in close and say in his ear "I hope you play ball better then Jenkins!, I pulled a lot of strings for you."

He looks at me with both fear and confidence and says "Absolutely KL!, congratulations again". The senator then kisses Luxuria on the cheek and then hugs Rose.

I then look at both Lux and Rose "Well ladies shall we go home or stick around the party longer".

I grab KL's hand along with Rose's hand, looking at KL I say. "Lets go home."

Walking in the door I quickly get Rose off to bed since it was a little late. I then take a seat next to KL and hand him a drink.

He places his arm around me, sitting there looking at my ring absolutely in love.

"So KL what now." as i look up at KL.

Walking with a purpose is vital in any life

"What next?... well the wedding of course, but just take things day by day, family is the most important... but we have 2 families and always need to be at our best... it's what's best for Rose and you and me. Tomorrow I need to speak with MrGanja as there is some business that needs to be taken care of, you focus on planning the wedding ok."

I light a cigarette and quickly go through the books for the Hotel.
