A nightmare to share Started by: BrotherHec on Oct 27, '16 19:09

So I fell asleep right, I was so exhausted and then...

BrotherHec turns after seeing some had begun listening to him share his dream after reading way too many teen novels the night before. He was jittery all excited it was just a dream yet fearful of the possibility of it being the future as well as his dream had indicated.

As you continue to listen you soon found yourself immersed in the Dream of BrotherHec.

"Ladies and Gentleman...we, the solemn six, welcome you to this months 'games of gold'. Where six made men who are unprotected will all enter the abandoned city of New Orleans to duel and shoot until only one made man survives. The winner, as most of yoibare aware of is given the price to pay for over 100 bodyguards for the future and has a voice in this community that no one else can speak against unless it is the solemn six.

Brotherhec peered through the crowds of people. No one seemed nervous or scared this belief was held that the person that prevailed was hailed as a champion. They were cheered for in the streets and celebrated by being invited in different head quarters to speak on the importance of ones gun and why you should train it viciously.

Every city gathered was wearing outfits that were easy for the eye to distinguish from the other The Vegas syndicates wore flashy suits and stood out more than the rest. The Philadelphia all wore a green clover on their hats. The New Yorkers wore long coats while the Detroit men had three piece suits that they cared for. The Los Angeles crime families took on a more Hollywood approach with their sunglasses and still the Chicago, the one BrotherHec found himself aligned with, all stood admidst the others with dress shirts and ties.

It was all together a powerful event. It was put on by the solemn six. Supposedly the idea was to keep the bloodshed down to a minimum and reminding people that the hard work they put in would be rewarded. The solemn six kept quiet about every matter and allowed their crew leaders to govern but when something bothered them they did not hesitate to jump in and rip apart a problem. After the problem was dealt with they would immediately set up a new crew so people were to think no real damage was done. The truth was however this couldn't be further from the truth.

The solemn six were mostly predictable. They were untouchable. They always agreed and even when they didn't, they did. Their focus was to stay together as they really only trusted one another. The crew leaders they set up would be taken care of for a while. When that crew leader started to gain too much favor an incident would occur, a lowly goomba or esteemed right hand of another crew would meet an untimely death. Witnesses would step forward saying they saw the crew leader and moments after that crewleader had vanished. Their crew too, no matter what age, was killed off. So when we talk about their predictabliaty we mean to say that if you crossed them you died.

Perhaps it was sort of a revolt they feared for. Perhaps they feared a new crew leader would establish a change that the solemn six would rather die than have. Maybe it was because the Six were genuinely fearful of the opposition of the collected cities. Whatever the case the solemn six treated any Matter with the utmost violent way, death and suffering.

"This month of Halloween we have a new twist one that is sure to bring a certain scare to the hearts of every city. This month the made men that will be stepping in to represent their city will actually be one of the crew leaders."

A gasp had filled the air. Immediate screaming and yelling. The uproar was as expected. A loyalty even to a bullet for a crew leader and for sure five men would die? The terror this would cause in the streets. What would happen to the rest of the crew? What would occur for the way business and organized crime was handled for the country? The solemn six had made such a horrifying decision. And if the several crew leaders did not obey they and their people would be immediately killed off...

"The purpose you may ask is simple. We want to remind everyone that we must all take part in an act of purging the community for our own benefit. I feel we only focus on made men then no one else makes the greatest sacrifice. Now on to more of the helpful matters. If your leader is the one to die his right hand will replace him and immediately be your new leader! This was accepted by all of the solemn six and now must be accepted by you the community. If you wish to not join your new crew leader than please request a transfer to anew crew immediately."

"The solemn six had decided their six candidates by luck of the draw. They have picked names out of a hat and these will be the people representing your city on Halloween.

From Los Angeles Crew Leader -> Tommy SpitFire

From Las Vegas Crew Leader -> William Rottweiler

From Detroit Crew Leader -> Perry The Pitt

From Chicago Crew Leader -> Tyson The Train

From Philadelphia Crew Leader -> Vito Number Five

From New York Crew Leader -> Rich Santino

"These are the leaders of the six cities. Please wish them luck as they venture forth to prepare for their upcoming Game of Gold!"

Most of these crew leaders held respect in the cities. None seemed fearful to venture forth. They all held different aspects that would help them out in this vigorous fight but anything could happen as they weren't allowed to bring their bodyguards with them. There was no forts except for the ones they would be placed in and there was no hope except that which they held for themselves.

Bring that this was organized crime most were taking bets on who they thought would win. BrotherHec looked on in disgust. The Chicago man Tyson was a giant. If a hand to hand combat ensued you could rest assured he would rip humans from limb to limb. That's really how he got that nickname. The Vegas crew leader was just as ferocious knowing To be so accurate with his gun and violent to any opposition they name s him after a dog. Still you had others like Vito who was extremely overweight and relied on his right hand to do everything. His nickname literally Came from husband favorite sandwhich shop. Spitfire was known for talking a lot in the streets and stirring things up but no one ever saw anything from him. Perry the Pitt was widely looked at as the most down to earth crew leader. He wasn't the kind of guy who cared to help the old ladies in the neighborhood. Then rich Santino. His whole life was a privileged and husband father was one of the solemn six. It was certainly a surprise to see him cast in the fire.

oh excuse me I have to use the bathroom. I'll finish the story when I come back..

Brotherhec interrupted himself to dismiss himself rob head to the bathroom. The story was just starting.

BrotherHec quickly came back from the bathroom and sat back down.

Did i tell  you about the part where The gangs began fighting after the reaping? No... Ok lets go there.

"These are the leaders of the six cities. Please wish them luck as they venture forth to prepare for their upcoming Game of Gold!"

As the announcer was reading the script one of the made men from the Las Vegas crew seemed visibly upset and shouted something. Others began to mock and jeer too at the way things were being handled. Just then fists began to fly and people began screaming and cursing at each other. The announcer was trying to call for order but none of the criminals had begun to obey.

"I will have to ask once more that if you do not..."

A brick was tossed at the announcer which left them unconscious. The Solemn Six must have been watching everything go down because as the physical violence was being met with other violence the Red Bodyguards, known as the Solemn Six private army who wore nothing but red, immediately showed up with rifles and Tommy guns to put down the commotion. Still people continued to violently protest the situation and the new Games of Gold.

Most people began to obey and step back. Several continued to fight it out. The Red Bodyguards rushed over to those several and manhandled them tying them all to the steel beams in the warehouse they were all at. As the organized criminals, who looked anything but organized after that display, were all standing by in attendance watched the Solemn Six had begun to make their way down to where those several men had been tied up. One of them probably the longest standing of the Six seemed to laugh with this evil sadistic laugh. It was as if he enjoyed this kind of thing. He began to address the gathered.

"Well..It seems to me you all are acting a bit out of anger. Dont you see that this is for your benefit? You wont be the one pit up against another this time around. It will be your crew leaders. Now...Why are you all so upset? Oh..Thats right. Loyalty. Loyalty is the thing that makes the world go round. Well let me tell you something about loyalty...Theres no such thing!"

Ruger. Ruger was his name. He was tall and thin. He was the only one of the solemn six who really could be looked at as the one who controlled anything. He walked around to each of the men tied to a pillar while continuing his classic evil guy speech.

"Is Loyalty what keeps you going? You miserable little pieces of Shit!"

Just then Ruger took his ruger pistol and shot the first guy in the stomach. Walking to the next one staring each one in the eyes he continued to speak.

"Is loyalty what keeps the money coming in? Is loyalty what your crew leaders show to you? Is Loyalty the inner drive that reminds you that you are special?"

The trigger was pulled again. Another Made man of a different city was shot. Coughing on his own blood and choking it out. You could see it in his eyes he looked to his cities Solemn Six leader gasping for help. The leader did nothing but tilt his head to the side and looked away. He couldn't even look at his dying member. These were the most evil men in all of organized crime.

"All i know is that you work for us. If you have a problem with it, leave the country. We, the solemn six have a message of continuing this business in peace. Do we not give you adequate room to do whatever you want? Do we not give you ample time to grow and become the mobster YOU wish you could be?"

Another Shot.

"THEN WHY THE HELL CAN YOU NOT BE RESPECTABLE ON MY TIME!?"

Another Shot.

"If this persists i may have to...Tommy Spitfire...Why are you tied up!? Were you causing trouble as well?"

Ruger walked up to Tommy. The red haired crew leader bleeding from the side of his head lifted his chin. He looked eye to eye at Ruger and spit in his face.

"Ayo Ruger, You and the Solemn Six aint shit. You all should count yourselves lucky as i was about to slay all you motherfu..."

Ruger pulled a knife from his coat pocket and slid it across SpitFires throat. Slowly deepening it as he moved it from side to side. Spitfires Eyes widened. The sounds coming from him sounded like that of a tale of terror. His members were caught off guard by the quickness with which Ruger killed him. No words or acts of peace. Just a knife across the throat.

The Red Bodyguards rushed towards the Los Angeles criminals and pointed their guns. Their hands quickly raised. I was caught up in with their crew although i myself was not involved with LA.

"I think we will need a replacement for Spitfire. Will the LA Representative of the Solemn Six please choose a lucky candidate to represent all of LA in the Games of Gold?"

He looked like an older movie star the Solemn Six representative for LA. He approached looking at all of his cities criminals and stared into the hearts of each one. As his eyes scanned the crowd his eyes fell on mine. It was as if he knew i was not a part of the LA crime syndicate. His eyes opened with relief and motioned for me to walk forward.

"Ding Ding Ding!!! We have a winner! And on behalf of the Solemn Six we all are wondering, Who Might You BE!?"

I couldn't muster out a single word. My eyes fell to the dead men whose bodies were still tied to the steel beams. I couldnt figure out why something so sadistic was occurring.

"Well Mr. Bashful. Heres what we will do. You are not only fighting to represent all of the made men of Los Angeles, you are fighting to save them as well. If you do not win this beautiful monthly event and die. So...Will...They...."

Ruger lifted his gun at me and pointed right in between my eyes. I knew he wasn't going to shoot as i was the representative but i was shocked when he pulled the trigger anyway.

CLICK.
