A trusty source had leaked the location of a now-abandoned army warehouse, with leftover armament from over a decade ago, used in the Great War. Such weaponry could be used to seize or hold control over a large district, and yyyyyyyyyy didn't plan to let any rogues in the area get hold of them. Although they might be a bit rusty, with some polishing and repairs, the police would have trouble dealing with anyone that acquired such munitions.

The first order of business was to rent two cargo trucks, for transportation of the weapons and whomever he could get to enact his plan. yyyyyyyyyy happened to know a guy that owned a used-car joint in Southern Detroit, and made sure he was paid well for the help. yyyyyyyyyy also rented out a warehouse to set up shop, and keep the weapons until he could get a greenlight from Mercedes_Kompressor or Don Gato to move them to a crew HQ. After parking the two trucks inside the warehouse, he went off to a local pub to get some hired help.

The place wasn't ratty, per se, but it wasn't fancy. Just the place to find some accomplices. He told the barkeep he'd be in a back booth if anyone came in looking for employment. He pulled out his newspaper and started the long wait.

Kate was lounging in the back of the pub, hanging on the arm of a large Irishman and laughing with a group of his friends. After a half hour or so, she disentangled herself from the group and walked, stumbling over to @yyyyyyyyyy. When she entered the booth where he was sitting, the act of drunkenness faded as she poked his newspaper.

'evening. I've seen you around. I'm Kate Logan; I work downtown. You're with Mercedes, right? I'm guessing, if you're here, that you're looking for help with a job. Want to fill me in?

She leaned back in the booth, relaxed.

"Hey there, I'm yyyyyyyyyy."

Putting down the newspaper

"And yeah, I'm trying to find some people to help move some crates. Need to get another driver and some able-bodied workers to do the heavy lifting. I figure a successful job will net anyone a pretty nice wad of cash if you catch my drift."

A slight grin crosses his face, realizing the woman in front of him seemed certified for the job.

"So... are you in?"

Kate looked at yyyyyyyyyy and smiled.

"Perhaps not myself, but I could most likely send you some people to assist, for a small fee. What's the job?"

Report Post Tip
"Now that you're in charge of Detroit, you need not worry about such trivial tasks, so anyone you send to me should work. I think 50 grand would be accompanying a successful job, as stated beforehand."

"Send whomever back here, I'll be waiting. Keep your wits about you"

yyyyyyyyyy smiles and slouches back in his seat.

Kate nods, listening, before standing and stretching a bit.

"Okay, I'll put the word out. I'll see you around, Wise."

Turning, she exited the room quickly, wondering which of her people would be interested.

he was given the word to show up, so he showed up. When the word of the boss was spoken, it was to be followed. quickly he located the location that was described to him. upon entering the bar, he scanned the room for familiar faces, then stopped at the bar.

I'm here to meet someone, or I should say something I expecting me I guess.

*stepping quickly down the street, Tabitha arrives at the location given and stops by the door. she instinctively looks over both shoulder before entering an action that would probably attract more attention than do her good. she steps in with an air of gritty class and stands next to Falcon.*

"I heard 'dere was some work down this way?"

As he reached his bi-hourly checkup on the door, looking up from his half eaten grilled cheese, yyyyyyyyyy noticed a pair of odd looking citizens, one with a poorly concealed magnum in her overcoat.

He stood up swiftly walked towards them, nodding to the duo.

In a harsh whisper, "Put that thing away before you get us all killed!"

"Come with me..."

The three exited the pub, the newcomers barely keeping up with yyyyyyyyyy's pace, ducking into backalleys and through apartment complexes until they reached the warehouse. Not magnificent in any way, half of its windows were boarded up, but the exterior fence still had its barbed wire attached.

They went through the main gate, yyyyyyyyyy nodding at one of the two guards in front. Opening up one of the garage doors, he led them inside.

"You wanted a job, yes?"

*Tammy surveys the area. She never liked being somewhere she didn't know, but knew it was necessary to develop herself. Her eyes darted around, limiting movement of her neck to conceal her taking in the environment*

"Ye, dat's why I be here."

he trailed Tammy at a distance, observing his surroundings as they walked. Clearly he was new to this city, so everything was foreign to him. when the man stop, he stopped and stepped closer to a pile of rubble next to the building. safety was always the best approach. Clearing his throat he responded "yes" when asked about wanting some work.

"Wonderful!"

"So, my name's yyyyyyyyyy and I'm your boss for the next couple days. What we're planning is a low risk heist. If you follow orders, this will all go smoothly and we can all get paid."

Pointing at the two cargo trucks

"These two babies are for transport, we'll grab the crates that we're looking for, and shove em on the back of these. The plan is to take them back here, if we haven't had any major issues.I got a couple extra fellows to do the heavy lifting, so if you guys want, one of you can drive the other truck, and one of ya can be our lookout."

"Feel free to decide amongst yourselves."

*Tammy waits for Falcon to make a decision, before growing impatient and speaking up. Her voice is sharp and doest flutter*

"Ill be your eyes, mista yyyyyyyyyy, got used ta' watching me back recently."

he took another position across the yard, watching for anything more suspicious than they currently where.

It currently looks good here boss. Carry on!

yyyyyyyyyy gestured to the hired muscle to fiollow him, then grabbed a crowbar from the back of one of the trucks to rip open the warehouse's garage door. He handed the crowbar to one of his assistants and pulled out his shotgun.

The warehouse was dark by this time of night, and only a single solitary light illuminated the grand room. Countless shelves filled its interior and yyyyyyyyyy and associates stood gaping in awe for a moment. Tammy was the first to move, grabbing a crate near the door, and promptly loading it into one of the trucks. yyyyyyyyyy told his hired help to grab the important goods, and motioned his new friends to follow him.

"I do hope we can talk again, for your assistance has been most helpful."

*tammy takes another look around the site and shrugs her shoulders. She wraps herself back up in her coat and brushes the dust from the sleeves.*

"Easy money really, mista yyyyyyyyyy."

After unloading the rest of the crates from the trucks into the family's warehouse, yyyyyyyyyy gathered up all his accomplices.

"A job well done, the city appreciates the work you've done for us."

yyyyyyyyyy hands both Falcon and Tammy bags holding around 50 grand worth of cold, hard cash.
