Days have passed on his murder,  the idea keep streaming in his
mind as -A- sat in that coffee shop thinking and wondering why a person
who do something like that. At the table beside him sat an old man,
leaning back and forth, back and forth, holding a small book in his
hand, it looks like a bible!
The waiter approaches the table and asks -A- for his order, he falls
into a few seconds of silence then orders a cup of coffee to wake him up
from the illusion he is in. The old man keeps staring at him as if he's
waiting for an answer to a question that has not been asked! the sweat
streaming down his forehead, his hands shaking and his obsessive need of
leaning back and forth caused -A- to stand up and head over to his
table!

"may I help you with something old man?" asked -A- trying to offer the
old man some help before he falls into a deep endless sleep, he was
waiting for something to get his mind off what's bothering him. "no, me?
no, why would i need help? me? no", the old man appears to be in a
state of shock from what ever had happened to him, trying to make him
feel better, -A- pulls out a cigar and hands it to the old man," why
thank you! " pleased with the gift, the old man stops shaking, he whips
the sweat off his face and looks at -A-, "what do you know of the
perfect crime?" he asked taking his first puff off the cigar, "what do
you mean?" asked -A- trying to get an idea of the old man is talking
about, "I am talking about the murder of Kate's father!"shocked of what
he had heard, -A-'s eyes open wide and his hands starts to shake! "what
do you know of that murder !!? Tell me now !!" enjoying his cigar the
old man places a peace of paper on the table then looks at -A- "The day
he died.." "yes I know the story, but what do you know!" interrupted -A-
jumping strait to the point," if you let me continue then you'll know"
said the old man, "you see, the day her father died, the perfect murder
was created, the note book found under his bead showed that he was
calculating a way for him to kill his daughter without being caught
,
but he knew that it was impossible! he knew that what ever he does
and what ever lie he would create, with a little patience, the truth
would be discovered and he would fall" he takes another puff off his
cigar and continues "you see, he wrote ten ways to kill his daughter
without making it look like a murder but all of them ended in one
conclusion! what he would do, and what ever way he found to kill her, it
will show as a murder! and that, he did not want, he wanted the murder
to show as if it wasn't a murder and that was not possible, there are
only three explanations for a death, the first is murder, the second is
self explicable in other words suicide, and the third is natural death!"
-A- leans back "but what about car accidents?", "that would count as
murder if the fault is not your own and if it is then it would count as
suicide", "I see!" said -A- in disbelief, "shall i continue? ... now, by
killing his daughter he would prevent her from dating this guy he had
not approved of!
" "yes!!!" interrupts -A-, " yes!, and he
believed that by doing that he would be setting her free!, free from the
spell she was cursed with from that guy, he believed it so badly that
he would commit this crime and not feel guilty! but that didn't happen"
he places the cigar at the table and takes a sip of the cold cup of
coffee that sat there for almost an hour now!"continue!" said -A-
waiting for the old man to finish and to continue the story, "continue
what? she killed him!", "she did?!" said -A- surprised!, "yes she did,
she found the note book three days later so she stabbed him with the
kitchen knife, she went to court and they declared here innocent by self
def-fence!" "and... were is the perfect murder?" asked -A-,"the perfect
murder my friend is that she requested the notebook to be burned! but
lucky me, I had the chance to read it before it got burned!", "How!"
asked -A- surprised, "I was the one who burned it, the funny thing is
that the hand writing on the notebook was not her father's" -A- 's eyes
rolled out as if something has hit him on the back of his head! the
waiter interrupts them asking them if they want anything else to order
but was push off by -A- anxious for the man to continue the story, "so
Who's was it! who's hand writing was it?" ... The old man looks at -A-
right in the eye and says "yours!"

"you told Kate about the note and it was you who placed the note there
when you went to see he in private without her father knowing, you knew
that with the note as evidence she would not be blamed and would be set
free for self def-fence and you would be together without him being in
the way! you made the perfect murder!"

"you are quite smart for an old man" continues -A- with a smile on his
face, "you know i am going to have to kill you now!" placing his hand in
his pocket readying his gun," you wont have to" says the old man,
standing up "Where do you think your going! sit back down!", the old man
looks -A- in the eye and says "you killed my son!" he places the bible
on the table, takes out a gun from his jacket and...

BANG!

walking out of the coffee shop, -A- knew that he had no choice,
the old man knew that he was going to die but had no choice but takes
his own life for the sake of his granddaughter.
