Risq wandered onto the streets, fresh and lost and eager to prove herself.

Time to lurk and learn the lay of the land. Risq hoped she wouldn't make too many major mistakes before figuring out how things worked under mafia rule. 

Slipping into the nearest bar, Risq quietly sat down, hoping to pick up some of the experience & history of the vets. 

Whilst reeling from giving an award winning speech on his perceptions of greatness on a nearby street corner, Bender was feeling parched. He entered a classless watering hole on the side of the street for a couple cheap drinks. After scanning the room Bender identified the easiest pockets to pick and sat down next to them.

Hey there lil lady, I'm Bender. How you doing?

Bender uses one hand with a flash wrist watch around it to attract the attention of the barkeeper along with the gaze of Risq whilst he slipped his hand into her coat pocket to see if there was anything of value inside. SNAP! Bender instantly pulled his hand back, shaking his fingers energetically as he did.

A mouse trap? What the hell??

Bender exits fairly quickly, squeezing his throbbing fingers under his armpit as he mumbled heatedly under his breath

Risq muffled her laughter in her sleeve as the failed pick-pocketer slunk off. The guy's a charmer at least, she figured, reaching into her pocket to reset her mousetrap. That had worked better than she thought. 

In fact, Risq thought as she played with Bender's flashy wrist watch that she'd nabbed, she might have to attract some more would-be thieves just to see that again. 

Time to learn some new tricks, Risq thought, surveying the bar. Plenty of targets, but she didn't want to attract the wrong kind of attention on her first day...
