Money is the Concept Started by: KingGeorgeWashington on Nov 11, '16 02:40

They say money is the concept. But where does it lie in the world of concept interruptions? Reality is where it stands, they say money runs like a scarce resource when it comes to gaining funds at the brink of being bankrupt, chance of being put in the lower class stage with the rest of those who may be homeless, left with no money or just destined to fail in a particular stance of being fit in the categorical list of every living being in Los Angeles. Los Angeles. The city where KingGeorgeWashington himself particularly was being housed in; he considered it a sort of effort as the family he's running with always takes pride in their city and as well as their members making everything formal as possible and working as usual, keeping away from the public eye but also doing the public job. Washington considered himself a man of intelligence and planning so he suggested something drastic that could go well should it be done correctly. A regular bank heist, but no bank heist is really regular as stated. To even plan such an invasion for a place carrying thousands of dollars worth of value takes time to carefully scope out and see the in and outs of the area, exterior and interior building plans, exits, entrances and also anyway for drivers to hide in - preferably an alleyway or should it be across the street for a swift pickup before being able to prepare to combat police response time, though should they be paid it which is a thought that popped in George's mind then it could be done without issue, maybe from security but that was far as it could get. The First Street Bank was a good start for Washington to scope out before he brought it up with Olympia-, this was gonna take time but it's a better idea for those being taken on the job to get the chance to gain the extra buck, and maybe be able to buy their own items with a grin on their face at the end of the day with a chance of celebration at the end of the job. Though most of the times people tend to celebrate early and it ends up causing them to be off guard when trouble comes to a first reminder.

GeorgeWashignton was the one ready to go ahead and scope out the first street bank; But how good was the risk? He asked himself. Beginning to drive over to the Bank while it's during one of it's opening work hours, he slid out of the vehicle as he shut the door patting himself down keeping his head up and keeping a stern glare to people passing by as he walked straight to the entrance to the bank while his shoes clacked against the cold floor - beginning to take a quick look around the bank around as he tried to blend in with the local people talking about withdrawals and deposits trying to seem like a customer that's waiting but because there was a lot of people inside today it gave GeorgeWashington enough time to scope out the place interior wise - but while that was one down the list, there was still more to do he had to carefully memorize the place and be able to remember what he saw inside as far as security, doors and passageways go. He began to leave when he finished taking a quick look around even though there wasn't to see from the lobby. He took it for granted and still began to look outside, Washington could see there wasn't any alleyways near the sides of the bank but a alleyway across the street where the bank resides, keeping that location in mind for the job setup. Noting down what he was able to get for a quick glare - Washington walked back to his vehicle as he began to start it up, pulling out of his parking space and driving over to HQ so he could see Olympia- and see where he could go from there. Parking up outside HQ and walking inside as he went through the lobby heading up to the offices, stopping right in front of the bosses' door and knocking as he awaited a response, the plan was soon to go underway.

Olympia was seated in a reading chair in her office. The lights were dimmed and she had a glass of red wine sitting next to her on the end table, half gone. Or half full.. She was a pessimist though.. There were a few blueprints laid out in her lap and she was pouring over them. They were blueprints to The First Street Bank, and she was studying them to find the best possible route through the building. Her associate, KingGeorgeWashington, had planned a great bank heist, and he was hoping for her help. She knew that KingGeorge was taking a visit to the building and that he would be pinpointing where all of the cameras were, where all of the guards stood, where the escape routes were, etc. She had never actually performed a crime of this magnitude, and she knew she was ready for it, but she also knew that they would need more people than just herself and KingGeorge, so she had already sent out a message with her assistant to let the family and other associates of hers and Fist-O-Pain's know about this, to see if they would help.

When she heard a couple knocks on her door, she looked up from the blueprints then folded them, placing them next to her glass on the table. She got up swiftly from her seat then walked over to the door, opening it slowly and seeing KingGeorge right outside looking ever-so-serious.

She greeted him with a smile and said, "Hey there! Good to see you! I was just looking over the blueprints you provided me with earlier. I think I found a few good routes through the bank.. Just need you to pinpoint where everything is actually at since these don't show cameras or guards or alarms or anything of course.. And also, we're really going to need some help. You and I can't do this alone, you know. So a message has been sent out to Family and associates, and also to the members in Fist-O's crew, to see if anyone else is interested in helping. I have a feeling that we'll have a way higher chance of actually pulling this off if we have at least seven or eight people involved. The more the merrier. So.. What'd you find out?"

Washington became more relaxed with his attitude as he gave Olympia- a simple nod, he was ready to discuss the details out with her about the interior and exterior of the bank, considering the plans only show the bank over all but not the inside and good places for getaways points throughout the street - he kept in mind that alleyway that was down the street from the Bank itself which wasn't very far, as risky as it was it was a simple chance of trying to creep in close. Washington became grateful at the fact that a message was sent to the rest of the family in order to help out on the job. After all, robbing a bank is no easy task as there is always resistance somewhere down the line. Washington went inside and took a seat.

"Well. Ms. Olympia, I went inside of the bank itself on my own time to see if I would be able to get a quick look around of what the building looks like, you have the lobby when you enter inside with the casual person behind each stall, then you have an employee's door which is locked but a worker there would always have the key, there aren't many people working at that as it is a small bank, but guess what isn't small? The cash that we plan on taking. There was a lot of people there today so I was able to blend in with the crowd and get a good look of everything before I left. When I went outside, I took a look of the outside of the building - trying to pinpoint if alleyways were nearby, there wasn't any close yet one down the street where we could put a getaway vehicle should we need to leave in such a haste. On the outside it looks small as well, so there wasn't that many entrances except the front door and a roof access point, though it would need to be accessed by the stairs in the next building, which won't prove much of a challenge since nobody goes there, heard it was closed down yet the stairs are our only need. Not much security, there was several balcony standpoints where the guards are to stand at to watch from above, so yeah there is gonna be security patrolling around but we can handle them should we have the help."

Washington was pointing and explaining each part of the map, as he went around the blueprints and pinpointed each place he was talking about and circling an area where each person could go, trying to think hard about each position he kept a strong mind about everything - knowing with his thinking that everything could go smoothly. But then the idea of the police response came in mind and he couldn't forget that. "Though, there might be one obstacle. The police, should they get payed off so we can do the job with outstanding odds then we shouldn't have a problem, we could go in at night in order to avoid as such." He gave a simple shrug as he relaxed back in the chair, giving a simple glare to Olympia-.

She nodded her head every now and then while KingGeorgeWashington spoke, watched him circle small areas on the blueprints. She said, "Well it seems like you've developed a decent start to a plan already! I think we will make use of that alleyway down the street, and park a couple cars there, depending on how many people actually help us out."

She picked up her wine glass and took a drink before setting it back down and saying, "The roof top is probably the best way, as you said. When we get up there, if the guards don't happen to be paying very good attention, which by what you said, they might not be since it's small, then maybe we can get past them without them actually noticing. I mean, we'd have to be very quiet... Maybe a few people can go in through the front door? Take care of the inside while we go through the roof and get to the vault first.. Then the others arrive to the vault, help us get the cash, and then we leave through the front door? I'm not sure. What did you think of as a way of exiting? And also.. I have no problem with paying off the police. I have cash, and I don't mind spending it just to get even more cash, you know?"

She smiled, thinking about how rich they would all be if this actually worked out. Of course she'd probably have to send a bit to the mayor to keep him off her ass but.. She really didn't mind that. Her mind was filled with thoughts of a vacation to the Bahamas or the Caribbean.. And lots of wine. Or maybe Whiskey..

She snapped back to reality when KingGeorge spoke again.

Report Post Tip

GeorgeWashington was in his own world for a moment, he was thinking of what he could do with the cash once he got it since he know this plan cannot fail and the fact that the cops are gonna get paid off just to gain the extra buck, you win some, you lose some after all. It relieved George's mind; knowing the plan would be a piece of cake. It'll make a lot of people happy; for most of the wise guys, they might waste on the money on cheap booze, hookers and handling deals. But what can you do, you'll always want to spend it the way you like and you can't judge someone for doing what they want with their money. It is theirs at the end of the day, George woke up and looked back at Olympia- with a casual glare.

"There's no way this plan can fall then. Since the place was scoped out by me and we got places to put the cars, we'll be rich. Being able to do whatever with our cash, there's gonna be a lot to go around anyhow, banks always carry a serious amount of cash, more than you can know what to do with. But that was never a problem for us, turns interesting, cops paid off. Places to park in case something happens, we'll be in and out before anyone realizes it's gone the next morning, heh."

Report Post Tip

She had placed her chin in her palm to listen to KingGeorge speak. He talked about how easy the job would be, how even if it failed they could pay off the cops. She laughed a little and said, "I do agree. This job will end up being a piece of cake. I just really hope that family and associates come along to help us out!"

Turning her eyes to the door, she thought for a moment. She wondered if anyone would just come waltzing in saying they'd help, or if she'd have to go out, grabbing people by their ears and pulling them in. She knew that just her and KingGeorge couldn't do the job by themselves..

"Well, King, when do you think we should do this?" She asked him.

Report Post Tip

Washington thought of Olympia's question for a short moment.

"We can do it tonight. Move fast while the money is still grand, you know? People make withdrawals out of there all the time. They're gonna be pretty skeptical and pissed off when they realize all of the money is gone, people are gonna be too distracted shouting at the guy who owns the bank because they lost their money. Heh, I can just imagine that now. Guy is gonna be like I didn't do it! It isn't my fault! But they won't listen to him from that standpoint - just continue shouting until their voice cracks or something. If we can do this tonight, then I assume you're gonna have to get some guys so we can meet up, discuss the plan, and then make it a go. We go in like usual as discussed."

Report Post Tip

She listened to KingGeorgeWashington while he spoke and nodded along every now and then. She agreed with him that it needed to be done sooner, rather than later. But she wasn't quite sure if anyone was going to come along to help.

She said, "Well.. I do agree that we should do it tonight. But it's short notice to fill people in on what we're going to be doing and well.. It seems like, so far, no one is interested in helping us with this.. I'd hate to go outside of Pasadena for help on this job.. Because then we'd have to share with them of course and I'm not a very good sharer when it comes to money.. Do you have any friends that would be willing to help maybe?"

Report Post Tip

Thomas walks in Olympia's office greets Geroge and Olympia, hangs his fedora and takes off his overcoat. Pouring him a glass of whiskey before sitting down.

"Sorry Im late, came soon as I heard. Bank job eh? I just upgraded my 1932 DAIMLER DOUBLE-SIX with some armor and bullet proof tires, but whats the cut? I can't risk my baby for cheap HA! The roof!?  I don't do heights so I'll go inside, funny thing is the cute teller in the bank is an old fling HA.. I could charm her and get her on board, or she could tell us their closing procedures.. we would really clean them out then..and only have one to two hostages guaranteed."

Thomas leans back in his chair and sparks a joint.

Report Post Tip

Washington shook his head.

"I won't have anybody else to come assist us on this job. But I guess you're gonna have t-"

Washington was disrupted as the man known as Thomas_Shelby intruded the duo's conversation, he went straight through the office door as he must've heard news of the bank job, but his attitude seemed a bit hyper-active, which can cause a problem but George was willing to take the chance should Olympia- allow him to accompany, though his idea seems sound. Charm the old teller in order to get her on board, but then it risks her going ahead to tell someone. Hence he was trying to do it at night.

"But what if you do charm her, we leave and get out of there, we risk her going off to tell the police, the ones that can't be persuaded at the sight of a dollar?"

Report Post Tip

Thomas looks at George then looks at Olympia offering her the joint.

Back in Birmingham I worked with a man named Reggie Kray. He was in a pinch, killed a man and his wife saw it and was going to testify. I was dating Jenny, the bank teller, and we made plans to come to America to start a new life. Well the 50k Kray was paying was our ticket out. I took the hit and we moved. I told her the truth and she left me because of the guilt, but never told because of fear..George I don't think we've met before but I assure you I leave no messes, I leave no trails, and I pay the sheriff HA!

Report Post Tip

Olympia listened to the two men speak, nodding her head. She heard all of the words, but was mostly just overjoyed that someone else came in to offer their assistance. Because she had obviously been starting to think that no one else would help and they'd have to cancel the plans and she wouldn't be filthy rich..

She looked at Thomas_Shelby and said, "What would the cons be though of doing this during the day? And what would the pros be? Because George here was planning to do this job during the night.. Tonight actually.. I mean.. It could work during the day but we'd have to severely rush our plans and probably leave now! Do you have any other friends that would be willing to help us on such short notice?"

Report Post Tip

Thomas leaned back in his chair with a grin on his face

"The day to me is too risky, business hours are busy, more money could be in the bank during the day making more cash accessible but that also would mean more security. I could get the info on where the money is moved as well as explosives for the safe, then again, would we have time to empty the safe during the day? how would we get the safe open?

Thomas looks to Olympia and George Washington for their thoughts

Report Post Tip

Sosa gets word that a bank job would be going down in Pasadena, and that he should head to the HQ to help plan it out.

Sosa arrives at the HQ, and makes his way to Olympia-'s office. He walks up to the door, and is greeted by Olympia-'s guards who quickly recognizes him and lets him through.

Sosa walks in and notices Olympia-, KingGeorgeWashington, and ThomasShelby already coming up with a plan.

Thomas mentions breaking in during the day, and Sosa's stomach turns. Once Thomas finishes with his idea Sosa begins to speak.

"Hmmmm, a bank job during the day I'm not too sure that will go by to smoothly to many witnesses way to much security. Night maybe the easier way to go especially with explosives involved if the cops do end up shitting on our parade I wouldn't want to add murder to the sentence."

"Considering we are looking to pull this off today maybe midnight would be the best route to go we could slip in the back use the explosive on the safe and be out of there just as fast as we got in. The cops will definitely be on there way after a explosion loud enough to blow open a safe, so we will need a driver. Someone who isn't scared to put the pedal to the metal even with the cops behind them."

"What do you guys think."

Sosa lights a cigar, and takes a seat waiting to hear from the others.

Report Post Tip

KingGeorgeWashington was hearing sound ideas. But to pick, and to assign even more even though he already planned it for the night, doing it during the day could not prove to be so difficult.

"I suppose we could ATTEMPT to do it during the day since we're gonna be able to get a bigger cash flows, the pros out of this would mean more money but the cons would be having to handle more hostages, and turning it into a rush, there will be more security and there might be cops trying to get up on us, there are some cops that can't be paid off. The good ones, should I say. I think it's better we do it during the night for less security, we don't need a bloodbath inside the bank though. Sound idea though, but it seems too risky. Might as well just ask to be blown out of the roof in that matter."

George was shaking his head at doing the job during the day, there was too many cons that overthrow the pros and it could be proved risky enough and have to rush everything in such a short minute, not only does that cause chaos but it causes confusion which could destroy the job all together.

Report Post Tip

Olympia shakes her head and says, "You know.. In this instance, I have to agree with Sosa.. The explosives could be a good idea, maybe after we have tied up the workers that are still at the bank? I recall LuBu sending me a communication about how he'd get involved if there were explosives.. Seems like he's the guy to call upon right now.. And I do agree that doing this in the middle of the night would work out better.. But of course that's just me.. What do you guys think? Explode the vault open, grab the cash, get out and then pay off the cops if we get heat?"

Report Post Tip

KingGeorgeWashington laid back in the seat with a small sigh.

"Or, we pay the cops off before we do the job and let them know what's going on so they don't get on our tail after we leave the bank, I don't wanna end up outside carrying bags of cash while being held at gunpoint, that doesn't work out very well and some cops are itchy; you move once and they believe it gives them enough reason to shoot you after they tell you to not move like once or twice. Contact LuBu like you said so we can get in contact with explosives, guess we're gonna have to postpone it until later or do it tonight. You never know, don't want people making withdrawals so early. I prefer doing this at night, what's the agreement here?"

Report Post Tip

Thomas sees the minds of his family working towards a solution, sips his drink then smiles.

"Look, I have the getaway car and I'm fine with whatever is decided. It seems like we are leaning toward doing the job at night and paying the cops off in advance. We gotta agree on a way of opening the safe, explsoives or we can take a torch to the lock. Im free tonight and any other night upon request."

Taking his last drink of whiskey, Thomas sparks another joint takes a deep breath.

"George, Olympia,Sosa, and myself..thats a clean cut right there. Lets split the work the same, I can take care of the getaway. . I'll get a sniper on a nearby roof and cover the getaway cars with drivers who have a destination. A stash house of mine.

Report Post Tip

"Fair enough." KingGeorgeWashington stated, he just wanted to get the job done instead of burning daylight in the middle of a crew office; well - burning daylight wasn't so bad at this point but it was close to getting dark and there needed to be a decision sooner or later, as trying to lean for two plans at once wasn't gonna get us very far. Washington looked at the people around the room but then he looked at Olympia- giving her a firm nod.

"Night it is. Get everything ready for tonight, we'll meet back at HQ and regroup so we know who's here and who isn't before the job starts so we don't fuck up and forget a miscount." GeorgeWashington became to get up and leave the office as he left his final decision with the rest of the group, he stepped out of the office as he made his way down the stairs towards the entrance of the HQ - opening the door and beginning to make his way home until later tonight.

Report Post Tip

Thomas nods at his two bodyguards who leave to go get the car.

"Salute! We have come to terms, I'll see you all tonight."

Thomas puts his overcoat then fedora on.

Thomas tips his hat "Till Tonight."

Thomas exits the room and building, getting into the backseat of his car ready out front and speeds off.
