April 14th, 6:30 pm...

It was time for me to do what i had to do, My past in Sicily has been effecting me ever since i arrived to NY...I knew there was only one thing i could do to make the problem go away.

After making a quick call to Rox, I sat in my apartment smoking a ciggarette and waited for her to show. About 10 minutes after i called she was at my door knocking "Luca let me in", I open the door and tell her to have a seat. As she sits down, Curiously she reply's "whats going on Luca, You wouldent tell me anything over the phone...are you ok?, Whats wrong?.

Everything is fine, I just wanted to explain the situation in person...you remember the problem we had with Vinny, "Yea"...well my old boss from Sicily is looking for him, I called him and told him he was killed by a gang down here in Vegas and i needed him to come down for a meeting.

"What did he say?"...he agreed, He trusts me...i worked for him a long time but i know my problems down here wont go away unless i do what i need to do.

"What do you have to do?"...i have to take him out, He is coming down with all the major members of the crew...his name is Frank Monticello, better known as Don Monticello. "Ok so what do we do?".

Well i told him i was putting him and the crew in a nice hotel for the night, And his plane is going to be arriving at around 10:00 tonight. So here's the plan, There is going to be about 10 of them in total including Frank...I need to be at the airport when the plane lands, We need to get some people together, I talked to My boss Lana and Tony, They have 2 cars ready...i need you to get 2 cars as well if possible. "No problem".

I knew i could count on you...ok so i will be at the airport by 9:30, when that plane lands i need you to lead the cars in. "I reach into my coat pocket hanging on a rack, need a gun?". "No i got my gun, snubnose".

Ok so the plan is set...with Frank and the crew gone, ill have no more worries about Sicily.

"Quickly standing to her feet, Rox puts her snubnose away, "No worries Luca ill get the rest of the backup". 

Ok Rox, Ill meet you in the parking lot of the diner across from the airport at 9:30. "Ok Luca see you tonight".

"Rox walks out as i prepare for the meeting".

Watching her watch as she stands at the back of a dark black car smoking a cigarette, Rox glances around wondering where Luca is he is almost late, pulling a dark blue hat down, tucking in her blonde locks she starts to tap her foot impatiently.

As i pull into the parking lot i can see Rox is already there, And she looks a little agravated.

I get out of my car and approach her..."sorry im a few minutes late, had to make sure my backup was ready". I take a look at my watch, Ok its 9:36 so we have plenty of time...you find your backup ok?".

Nodding motioning to the car parked across the street.

"Yea I had no problem getting my back up, I got a little worried you weren't going to show, I mean this is a very risky plan of yours, I am just hopping it all goes off without a hitch." Rox sighs deeply.

"You sure you want to do this Luca? you know there is no going back."

I know Rox, But i have no choice...i need to get away from my past in sicily.

I know it's risky but we out number them, By the time they see whats going on...they will be dead. Thanks for helping me by the way, your always there for me, your a true friend Rox.

"I will always be here for you Luca, I just hope your doing the right thing.."

"Rox flicks her cigarette to the ground and stomps it out."

"Well lets get the show on the road shall we?"

ok, lets do it...remember that plane lands move in...im going to tell Frank its backup for me to make sure the gang dont take us out.

"I walk off and make my way towards the airport".

Climbing into the car Rox takes a long deep breath and closes her eyes, when she opens her eyes she give the signal to the other car to move out, she motions to her driver to pull out slowly and head to the airport, mumbling under her breath.

This better work Luca... don't end up getting dead!

10 pm approches, I see the plane start to lower as it prepares to land...i take one last drag of my ciggarette and place it down as i take my right foot and step on it.

As the plane lands i see the cars start to move towards me, Not wasting anytime Frank and the crew step out of the plane.

Frank replys "Luca it's been awhile, he quickly glances at the cars...whos that?.

"No worries Frank its just my backup, make sure that gang dont show up"

Frank replies "So, what is this meeting about?, Who killed Vinny?

I begin to make up a story as i wait for Rox to pull up.

Rox orders the driver to move on slowly as she can see Luca talking to Don Monticello, she tugs at her hat one last time giving the signal to the others to be on the ready as she pulls the .38 out of her jacket cocking the hammer back.

I can see at this point that Rox is about 30 feet away, so i stall Frank a little longer..."this gang came out of nowhere".

"So your saying this gang had no reason for killing Vinny?".

Well Frank, You know how Vinny was...always shooting his mouth off.

"Cant argue with you there, So what hotel did you book me in?.

Both of the cars pull to a hault Rox and the others roll out and quickly open fire, Rox fires a quick the bullet lands deep into Don Monticello's thigh, turning she continues to fire as she sees the Don drop and crawl behind a crate, a hail of bullets whirl around one of her men takes a hit to the shoulder and falls back behind the car, Rox reloads and makes her way towards Luca, as she approaches him she notices all the Don's men laying on the blood stained ground, she whispers to Luca.

"Careful I saw the Don crawl behind those crates over there, you lead I'll follow."

Ok, i think everyone is dead already...that dident take to long, "I peek over one of the cars and see all of Monticello's men lying on the pavemen".

Ok Rox lets go, "As we search for Frank i begin to yell out for him..."FRANK, come out...you have nowhere to go...FRANK".

I can hear groaning coming from behind a crate so me and Rox walk up to him..."Dont take it personal Frank, Its just business. I take a look at Rox and nod, As we fire off a few shots into Don Monticello.

"Its over, Rox replies"

Yea it is, thanks for helping me...couldent have done it without you. As i am about to make my way back to the car, I notice someone reaching for a gun...Tommy a capo for Don Monticello...i yell "ROX WATCH OUT"

As she turns around i jump in front of her As Tommy gets a shot off and hits me in the left shoulder. As i go sown Rox fires off a shot a hits Tommy right in the face.

I lay there applying pressure to the wound.

Kneeing down to Luca Rox shaked her head, pulling her cap off she uses it to cover his wound and helps him apply pressure, looking down at him a tear forms in her eye.

"Luca you just saved my life.. are you ok? please tell me your ok.."

Rox takes a deep breath, and helps Luca to his feet moving quickly over to the car as she hears sirens in the distance.

"Come on we have to get you out of here, its not safe."

Rox helps me to the car as we take off "Im fine, he got me in the shoulder its not that bad...i think the bullet went through, just needs to be stiched up. and i wasent going to see you get shot.

"I owe you my life now Luca you know that."

Still applying pressure to his wound she tells the driver to head to her shop she she can stitch Luca up and make sure the bullet went straight through.

"Well Luca you got your life back now, no more worries about what you left behind back home.. this is home now.!"
