WELL IN THAT CASE, HOW ABOUT WHEN A MOBSTER ROGUES?  PERSONALLY I THINK THAT MOBSTER SHOULD BE GUNNED DOWN AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLY, BUT THAT IS JUST MY HUMBLE OPINION.  I DON'T MEAN TO SPEAK FOR ANYONE ELSE.  WILL THIS BE DISCUSSED AT THE NEXT MEETING?

A meeting was long overdue, numerous folk were occupied with other business so the meeting was held at a time and place where mostly everyone could attend. We were all in need of direction for quite some time, now that the community can hear these words it's only looking up from here.

It was long and tiring, but very detailed. There wasn't much that was left out and we were all pleased with the outcomes come the end of our meeting, candy was mentioned at one point but no one passed any in my direction, so I was a little sad. Sad down for two hours with no candy was hard when I saw someone else eating. Still though, we all mostly saw things on the same level, it was only so long due to details and how they'd be worded to the masses.

I'd just like to briefly add that the discussion of bloodlining lasted less than one minute.

The discussion on funeral disrespect was even shorter, largely mentioned in the perspective of a larger debate on public respect in the streets.

These particular issues were universally and quickly resolved, as anyone would expect. Slash was just very thorough in his summary of what happened.

Artus I also got no candy either...

I would echo the sentiment that this was long overdue but extremely beneficial - and really the length of the meeting was more about the semantics than the topics discussed. Essentially starting a conversation with that many people on topics that are very important to our community was never going to be an easy task - however I must say that for the most part the CL's view are all on the same page and much of the chat was simply shaping that into something we all put our name to - very refreshing in my view.

I will also take the chin the talking I hear elsewhere in these streets about leaders not being forthcoming in the immediate aftermath of the late Pillars deaths - RIP. As a CL in a former 'free city' we were left in what felt like a state of limbo which is very difficult to make a helpful comment on, I can appreciate though that the community as a whole wanted answers. So whilst perhaps it could of been done quicker on reflection, I am delighted that it has now been addressed and communicated and we can all move forward positively.
