So,  I'd like to introduce myself.  Many on the game would know me by my IRC Nick of Crowley.   I was talking to a friend on IRC about D&D and they told me they'd like to play but they have don't have nobody really around.  I talked to him after talking to the DM of the D&D game I play RL, and found out there is a very good web based service that incorps Video and Voice into it.

So what I am getting at.  Who all would be interested in being apart of an inaugural MafiaReturns Dungeons and Dragons Group.  I am looking for about 4 to 5 players to sit down either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly and run a campaign.  If I get enough interest I'll begin planning for the first game sometime after the New Years.  Gives time for people to spend with family and friends for the holidays etc.   i'll have a form for those that are super serious  about sitting down and joining.  The form will detail days, and times that would be good for you, and I'll try to setup game times according to those.  One thing is I work 5 days a week usually between 11am to 8pm.  So If games falls on my work days It'll be after I got home etc.

I actually DM 5th edition at home with roughly 8 peoples. Should be interesting.

I've been in two DnD campaigns and currently DM a Game of Thrones RPG. I'd love to see something like this set up. What platform would we use? R20?

To answer your questions Cato.   I plan on using Roll20.net for the online portion of the game.  Then for the rules I plan on using D&D 5e rules.

So I'd like to resurrect this thread and see if anybody has either a remote and/or legit interest in doing something like this. 

ive never played before but I would be willing to give a short game a shot

I've been playing Pathfinder for a long time now which I guess is basically a re-skinned 3.5? But I've been looking at finally getting into the new rulebook

This seems like a legit cool idea if we get enough people for it. 

I've never played D&D anybody wanna' explain the semantics?
