| Inconsiderate Crew Leaders | Started by: FreddyFastFingers on Nov 19, '16 04:46 |

I seems they are everywhere nowadays I am not pointing fingers to anyone of you directly so take this with a grain of salt. Honor and respect is a two way street in our world and I have come to see that there is just as much disrespect going down hill as there is going up hill. Many people honestly try to give and give in this world of ours and it seems the masses are now just expecting it to happen without asking or even a thank you. Again it has happened to me ....after spending loads of time bruising my knuckles and building a wonderful fort for yet another family I got nothing from the Crew Leader. I did not do all the work But a very large chuck of it Don't worry It wont be happening again because after years of being nice and over and over again spending my hard earned cash I am done giving. I give thanks to those that know they thanked me for the help. For those that cannot return the respect that those at a lower level give to you over and over again you are the leeches of these world that need to be removed. |

What did you expect? A blessing? Your experience can only be built in suffering the experiences of living. |

This is a lesson that is hard to learn when you give far too much. In one aspect leaders want x, y and z. They expect it. They believe it is their right. But I have always found if they want those things, they need to show they deserve it. Anyone can set up an HQ, but not everyone can inspire people to contribute more than the bare minimum to them. I used to believe in giving everything to a leader. Now I have learned that like they expect you to earn certain things, so should they earn certain things. One of them is their tributes. Money is a huge aspect that makes the world go round but they need to realize people have to work for their money. It is their effort and work they are giving to the leader. Some understand that, some don't. |

Dizzi, honestly, have you ever been with someone who may have inspired you to do things you have never done before? When I die and if I make my crew someday after, I promise you I will keep you satisfied... |

A sad fact Thanks was given but not received By Freddy the things you can miss if you only stay in your own HQ. (Aka crew chat). He thanks the people here. But he needs a serious break. His loving wife will fill in for him as best as she can....or until I get bored. Hello world long time no see. |

This is an interesting subject for sure...I personally feel this has nothing to do with rank at all and really connect with comments here that suggest really if you are inspiring members, coaching them and appropriately leading them the donations & support should just come naturally - but more than that these are signs of loyalty and an investment in a family that they love being a part of. I can only speak for my own, I read in my ancestors diaries of quiet HQ's for days on end and also a fear to ask questions that would allow them to grow and be better criminals. I can hand on heart say with full confidence that you will never hear those words from any in my crew. The investment and judgement of a crew leader to be available to coach, to delegate as needed and also to lead and do the not so nice stuff as required too is the difference between the skill of just being a CL or being a CL that has an active. positive, contributing and inspired crew that are loyal and simply want the very best they can have for the family they love belonging to. I can only say my lot are bloody lovely and I do not have any issues with tributes or activity or communication, for the new faces they tell me they tribute for the time we spend teaching and coaching them in this world of ours for the ones who are returning relatives they know the importance of keeping us secure and safe here and tribute on that basis. There was another speech I heard out here about gratitude from the CL's for monies donated...for my part each and every donation gets recognised no matter the size or the rank of the person. feels a little emotional and goes to hug her crew and drink some wine... |

Same old gets to be quite the bore but rest assure somewhere in this broken down community a vet will take you under their wing opposed to the same old same old in position. It is rare but happens. It all depends whether or not you got some patience. Patience may need a few years. |

| You should've been shot twice for the apparent lack of emotional maturity shown in your little 'speech' - it's like a disease pointing towards the other ailment and going 'oh, oh, but that one, that one is really bad'! If your response to not being appreciated enough is to address us hard-working (cough), hard-boiled, cynical and busy mobsters with a little wishy-washy, whiny speech about current & past experiences that future generations could only describe as 'tumbleresque', then, my friend, I fear it is you who are the problem, moreso than these bad, sad crewleaders who, although they aren't ideal leaders at all, don't bother us with their shit. | |

Seems to me Kerouac that being you are just a lowly gangster maybe you missed the point of the speech that was made. And you may be part of the problem also. Just a observation on my part, maybe the part about whining dribble on the streets needs to start with people like yourself. Sounds to me like Freddy was making a good point and that the leaders who are lacking need to step up to the plate and do a little more work. He I am sure was showing respect by not listing anyone person / CL or working stiff. |

You may very well think so, I couldn't possibly comment. Personally I've never ascribed much worth to things like rank though, but perhaps you're one of them types who do. Let's have a drink or something and recognise we're both bums! |

I am in a mixed street about this, as on one hand I have had this happen to me at one point. However on the other side, as a CL I personally try to thank or show some type of gratitude towards my fellow family members. Keep in mind I said 'try', sometimes I just don't because either I forget or at the time I'm focusing on a important matter and it gets pushed to the side. I try my best, but I'm also human. I am pretty certain my family knows of my gratitude towards their hard work and donations. The same way they also know I am there if they need help at any point, I encourage question asking, as how else are people meant to learn and develop? I wouldn't want somebody to feel the way you do in any family, but sometimes it happens. It shouldn't happen in every family, as the people I know are happy where they are. But as I said before I sympathise with you, as it has happened to me in a previous family. But I accepted it and moved on, it wasn't a pleasant feeling, but I couldn't do anything about it. So I continued donating, and just tried to develop as a person. To not make the same mistakes, if I ever was put in a similar position. Fast forward a bit, and hey presto! I'm in said position. I would advise anybody in a similar position, to in some words suck it it up. Not trying to be harsh in any regards there, but unless you want to publicly come out the streets and make indirects to your CL (not saying you did btw) while talking about your predicament then, that is a good option. As while you suck it up, you can focus on learning yourself. Improve yourself, and think how you would do things. How you could avoid certain mistakes etc. That is my take on it anyway, as well as a bit of personal experience. |

Im fully aware that MR Fastfinger has passed onto the other side but i do feel like i want to offer sentiment here. There is a problem here and its not the lack of shitty inconsiderate Crew Leaders. Its the fact that working in this very environment is incredibly emotive. So we are (well Crew Leaders) are telling people how they should work and how the rules of their set up are. Naturally there will always be the human element that exists of different people requiring different things out of people and that runs bottom to top and top to bottom. We simply can not please everyone. That doesn't to say Crew leaders shouldn't do everything they can to facilitate the difference of cultures with their set ups, of course they do. Its the role that they chose to take on and with that role comes a greater responsibility. If nothing else it brings to light the absolute importance of picking the correct Crew and its leader. Its often overlooked and most of the time its the route cause of people feeling they just give and give and receive fuck all in return. The only thing i can do is implore people to really think about the process they use in deciding who's organisation that they choose, its so important. We know that some Crew Leaders off a damn sight more than others. And obviously what a Crew Leader does or doesn't do is subjective to those that they work with. Its a safe assumption that every Crew Leader will do the bare minimum and the least that is expected of them and sometimes people just want more, which is not a bad thing- like i say its subjective to the needs of you as a person. I think though, with the notion that you could possibly transfer between crews if you're feeling unhappy about the effort vs reward you're currently getting you could always try to exercise that option. A Good crew Leader shouldn't really be blocking a move like that. Sometimes people just dont click with another and thats just life. |
