I just saw The Fourth Kind. It is a new release on DVD if you never heard of it. It was really fucking freaky. I will hate owls from this day forward.

I saw The Fourth Kind in the theaters when it came out... lame ass movie. They're fucking capitalizing out of a completely contrived "true story" and I find it very insulting to the intelligence of the viewer.

Then again, I'm a film major, so I'm naturally more critical. But don't waste your time.

Dunno if many people have heard of Takashi Miike, a really weird japanese filmmaker. He's famous for movies like Visitor Q, Ichi the Killer, and Gozu...all of which are extremely violent/sexual, feature weird, over-the-top characters, and are very awesome.

Of course I may be a bit biased, being asian myself hah.

A film made by Terry Gilliam called Brazil is the most bizarre film I have ever seen.

I think A Clockwork Orange is the weirdest movie I have seen. I did however like it. Its a social message against government mind control and brain washing. Its not an easy movie to watch but it is well made.

Just finished watching the Human Centipede by Tom Six...about a mad surgeon who conjoins three people in a very dirty way.

Hands down has to be a film called existenz. I have only seen it once a long time ago but it was just bizarre. It was sort of Matrix-esque and came out around the same time. Without wanting to spoil anything I remember a scene where the main character orders a dish of some really disgusting looking food and then makes a gun out of the animals bones.
