Since meeting BrotherHec in person Niko started working for him and his organization the past couple of weeks. Beat up this guy here, collect that payment over there, drop that body over there. He was at his cousin Roman's apartment he had saved up enough money to move out but hadn't really picked out a place yet.

Roman was listening to the Radio and Niko was drinking some coffee Roman saw Niko and was curious ever since he arrived they never had any time to talk to each other he was busy running his cab business and Niko as always attracted trouble. He turned off the radio and sat next to him in an area that I guess you could call a kitchen.

"So Cousin you ever going to tell me what happened to you?"

"Whenever you have time."

"I have time now..."

"You better listen then."

Niko tried to tell Roman this story before but every time Roman either fell asleep or lost interest and ignored him.

"During the war..."

16 Years Ago Somewhere in Europe

They were fifteen men all from the same Village Niko was one of them along with Goran, Florian Cravic, Darko Brevic, Mijo, Dragan, Dmitar, and eight other guys. Goran was the leader today they were on a mission in a small little town they had gotten word that an Austrian General was hiding out in this little town and they had to take him in alive or dead.

Something felt strange that morning when they went into that town. It was strange that an Austrian General would hide out in a town with no protection there were no tanks, no soliders, nothing. Then it happened they walked right into it the high buildings in above them were filled with snipers.

One by one Niko saw his friends die he managed to escape and so did two others Florian and Darko.

Today

"One of us betrayed the group. I know it wasn't me so I spent years searching for the other two Florian and Darko one of them lives here. It's one of the reasons why I came here."

Roman fell asleep

"Roman?"

"Wha-?"

"SERIOUSLY? COME ON MAN!"

"I'm sorry I got to get back to the depot I have to start another shift maybe we can do this another time?"

Roman left and Niko continued drinking his coffee in the apartment alone
