| NBA Champs. Who and Why? | Started by: Billy_the_KidNM on Apr 18, '10 20:35 |

I have been a spurs fan since Robinson took Little Tim Dunkan under his wings! I think the spurs have a good chance this year at being the 2010 NBA champs. I believe that Duncan is still a strong player even though he can be inconsistent. Manu Ginobli is by far the most talented player on the team. Parker has had a slow year statistically but should be an assist to the team during the Playoffs.
Who's your favorite team and why? |

the cleveland cavaliers will win this year because that will be the only way to keep lebron james from jumping ship to new york since he's a free agent this off season |

Based upon talent, the Lakers are my front runners. But I never count out the Cavs, LBJ has the Refs and David Stern on his side! |

1st game for the Spurs was frustrating! San Antonio could not buy a Rebound. Dallas looked good! I hope the 2nd game goes better! Yeah.... I see LBJ leaving the Cavs after this season! |

The Lakers should repeaT. They have the best player on the best team.....As for Lebron, he is great don't get me wrong but he is such a child...and his running mate Shaq is a front runner he has done nothing since he left LA. I know I know he got a ring with the Heat but that's all he got a ring no thanks to him. I like LeBron when he started but now he comes off as a baby. Worried abiut getting dunked on by Crawford was stupid and not shakeing hands with Dwight Howard was bush league...I hope the Magic hand it to them again!
But to your question the Lakers got better and are defending Champs til someone shows me something it's thiers to lose.

By far the hottest team to come in the playoff is the Suns, yeah they may lose game 1 but I think its their time now! |

I agree with you Chuck! Phoenix does look tough. I think Steve Nash is great offensively and defensively! Last nights game was good especially the last couple of minutes! |

"I think Steve Nash is great offensively and defensively!"
Defensively? Really?
Steve Nash is one of the worst defensive players in the league right now. His defensive is infact one of the strongest cases against them not winning it all. Well that and they have a C coach at best and are in the West.
I do agree with the point they were one of the hottest teams coming into the playoffs, can't really argue with facts. |

Well, DonPardo is correct Steve Nash may suck at defence but he makes it up with his unique style of play at the other end. He is the brain of the offence of the team and so far if Nash is not in Suns Jersey, i dont see the team in the playoffs. |
