Yeah..,I know some of you may have not been around in the 80's but it was a great decade! The 80's offered great music, movies, TV, clothes and BIG HAIR! Maybe you hated the 80's tell what you didn't like! I loved most of it especially the music! VAN HALEN rocked!

The music definitely rawked! The toys were way better too! I miss pound puppies and pillow pals! I could go on forever about the 80's :)

Because she lived in the 80s. I lived in the 80s. We EXPERIENCED the 80s.... You can know historical information and not have lived during the era... But you can't say you experienced them.

Good point DirtyLittleSekrit! I'm just saying that you can like or hate things from that era w/o living during it. I was born in 69 and dont think i lived the 60's but I can tell you that there isn't much about the "Free Love" life style or music that I can say I like! YUK! 80's rocked and I am glad you and I were there to have experienced it!

I graduated from high school in 1987. Let me tell you that the best thing about the '80s was not the music. It was the fact that people were not yet paranoid about STD's and the women were incredibly easy. Sorry to burst your bubble, Billy, but all that "yucky" stuff was going on in the '80s, too.

The 80's was the best of times in my opinion. If we were bored we would gather with friend and take a walk outside and breath some fresh air. Listening to our walkman's loll... you guys remember walk man's... i remember myself in 1985 listening to Motley crew in my brand new walkman. And my walkman had a radio and i though that was cool! Things sure have changed. Now there is too much stuff for us to really appreciate what we have. The technologie sky rocketed since the 80's and things are much different today. Of course it is not all about music, it is about a lot of stuff. I miss those days! At least i am not the only dinosaur around loll!

In all seriousness my favorite part of the 80's was watching the Tigers win the Wor Series in '84....I was only 5 but I can slightly remember being there with my grandfather....and no the city did not go down in flames :p

I was born in the mid 80's and even though I wasn't old enough to appreciate it then the music is something I love to listen to now, My Ipod is loaded with 80's music everything from Air Supply to Prince and the Revelution and everything inbetween, in my opinion that era of music was and still is the greatest!

Garbage Pail Kids hahaha! I saved all that shit thinking it would be worth something some day. It's worth about jack crap. I would loved to have partied back then in the 80s. That would have been awesome. But I guess the music would have to be my favorite part (some of it). The style was horrific though, especially in the music scene with a lot of the 80's butt-metal glam bands. I kind of liked the 80s style for girls, like the hair and clothes. That did it for me. But the 80s style for dudes... Horrible. Lots of feathered mullets too on both guys and girls which lets face it was pretty awful.

Best thing about the 80s? I was born.

How about break dancing?? I never could do it, but LOVE watching it!! In fact, Breakin' has been on a couple times in the last few months and I've watched it. Sooooo cheesy, but that's the 80's for ya! And the tv shows were way better then too. That was when there were actual cartoons on Saturday mornings! \o/ Good times people, good times!

Yeah Baby definitely old skool hip hop was a fond memory. The channel Backspin is one of my favorite channels on Satellite radio.
