A "time" for change? Started by: WhySoSerious on Nov 29, '16 16:35
Right, I've been thinking this for a while now, why is the game set in the late 20s to early 30s?
To me, the hay day of the Sicilian Mob is the 60s 70s and 80s. More killings more wars, right?

Cause in this era the gangstas truly ran shit, and the authorities didnt, including the government. In this era crime really did pay, and criminals rules the world unlike in any other, atleast in 1920s to 1930s america. If the era changed then this wouldnt be the case, and id assume governments and authorities would need to be included in a more substansial way, which just wouldnt work. Besides, people RP stuff outside this era all the time and fit it in with their creativity, including criminal organizations and the like of different time periods. The canvas may stay the same, yet you can do alot with a paintbrush.
