| What is your stance? | Started by: MikhailKomarov on Dec 05, '16 04:37 |

BCP laughs that still through the years people have this question. Having read it in journals, history books and peoples graves he finds the topic tiresome and over dramatic. Well, to be honest, this is a tiresome topic. Seems every few generations, someone has to come out here and ask about pick pocketing. Its not like any of us do "legit" jobs around here. I mean, a kid can lift your wallet as easily as someone can take your life. So I don't see the point on knowing how their reaction or intenions would be matters. You take the chance every time you lift a wallet. So wether its a clean sweep, a beat down or a bullet. That is on you. Not sure why people get their panties in a bunch over it. You do the deed you take the risk. Just like a lot of things out there we all do. Just my two cents. Wether they say they mind or do mind means dick. Its always gonna be on you. Not them. So just deal with whatever happens as it happens like a grown ass man. Again just my two cents. |

Comrades! Esteem, honor, and glory are given to those with enough power to take it. I condone such behavior! |

My dear Mikhail. Learn from your messiah. Do not make the same mistakes I have. For if I had only stated on my enclosure that it was not a child friendly play zone, things might be very different for not only me, but all of Gorilla-kind. I died to cleanse you of your sins, do not repeat them. He pauses, scratching under his chin in a wise way that only He can. Side bar. It really shouldn't matter what anyone's stance is. You're a criminal. Do as you fucking wish. Know that consequences may or may not follow doing whatever the fuck you wish, depending on how important the person you mess with is. You want to PP that dude? Do it. He might mug you, shit happens. Pissed that little turd mugged you? Pull your panties up and shoot the little shit if it's that big of a deal to you. Someone ignored you stated PP stance? Whine to your CL, be seen as a douche by said CL, CL will either brush it off and ignore you or contact other CLs to pretend to care about your whiny ass. Or you could just shoot the fucker. I find that to be much more fun. But don't take my word for it, I'm a fuckin monkey. |

Mikhail listened carefully to the opinions of his fellow comrades. He knows this pick pocket topic has come up before, but not necessarily the topic he specifically brought up. He appreciated the comments and responses. "Thank you for the comments, comrades. I think the majority of people are all in for beating up their assailants. And as for having a stance for it, I think not having one is the status most can get behind. Why sport anything in regards that said 'Sure you may take some of my hard earned cash'? I don't think it makes sense, and most of you don't either. While some of you may not believe the mugger is an victim, it sure does feel better knowing that if you do feel like you are, you may attack your assailant within an inch of their life. Thank you again for the comments and support behind this conversation." Mikhail turns to his HighPitchEric... "I am proud of you, son." |

Veronia agrees with majority of what has been said. We are mafiosi and i think its a make or break type of life.. we steal, we kill and we mug those who take what's not theirs. Its sadly a unpredisposed position that we have to accept .. if we do the crime we expect retaliation in return. I do not think that whining should be an aspect we instill in our society but rather then expect worse then what you do to another. |

This seems to have somehow escaped me and to be quite honest, I figue my views have been shared by others already.. But you know what, I think i'll add them anyway. Bit more weight behind the same views never hurts. So really I feel that its preposterus to have a message on your body advising people whether you are Ok with being stolen from. I mean, who the fuck would really do that? So why do we mafioso feel the need to alert others in our society to this? It's become a long standing tradition due to some very old laws in this country, which are now obsolete really. So frankly I feel no-one should have such a tattoo on themselves and it should simply be down to the person to accept the risk on whether or not their target is friendly or not. Generally, if I feel the need to pick a pocket or two, I will steal the cash from one pocket whilst slippint back into another. Especially a back pocket if their name is EricaWilde. But generally I feel thats what lacking most is people accepting the risk of their own actions. Too many want to cry if they get attacked for stealing off someone, its a natural reaction and having a tattoo shouldn't be a factor at all. |

I think its all a question of respect. Yes, we are mobsters and we try to get as much cash as possible, but we are still all fellow mobsters, we all have a bond that brings us together. I honestly do not see the point of being PP unfriendly, if it is payed back. You make someone happy because they got their PP and you are happy because you might have a little surplus. Which brings me to my next point, you say that you make money by not putting your stance, but only beginners PP without depositing all their money in the bank account. Usually, the most you get is under 1k and if you are lucky, a gun. And you damper someone's day, all because you didn't want to put a stance. |

| Slash I have to disagree with you on this one. I respect your opinion and totally understand, but I personally think everybody should be okay with getting PP'd. I will always go for CA's before players and I think everybody should do that, but what do we do when there aren't any active CA's? I mean, if the person pays back, even without surplus ( everyone should add surplus thought ), I feel like it's a a huge amount of disrespect to the person PP'd and gave you even more money that they took. They respected you and you just turn around and mug them as a thank you? That's just the way I feel about it thought, I totally respect your opinion. | |

Conn, I'm afraid that I must disagree with your view that everybody should be ok with getting pick pocketed. You must remember that aside from the act being relatively disrespectful (even if a bit of fun), there can be more sinacle reasons to do it - for example to check whether an individual showing lots of bodyguard strength has actually gone to the effort of training them, or to double check the location of someone you intend to murder. As a result I completely understand why the act can make people paranoid and want to respond with a great deal of force. |

Dear Don Bonkers, I do understand your point and respect it as much as mine, however, the way I see it is that it all goes in the respect category. Respect is a big part of our world and I think mobsters should respect each other. It is indeed not respectful to check someone's bodyguard strength, that's why everybody should try and get CA's first, as I mentioned earlier. However, when there aren't any avaible to PP, I don't see the harm in trying on someone for your achievement. There is too much paranoia in this world and I think we should all take a step back and just all have fun and try to be nice and respectful. That being said, you do have a good point with the double checking during a war. If in a war, I totally understand the utility of mugging, blocking the traveling and maybe even stealing his gun. I find it acceptable in a war, because it could a great help to you, but I just don't see what you can get out of mugging someone, not in a war, except making someone mad and killing their day. |
