It was a typical mid winters afternoon in Chicago, wind and rain lashed the windows of the recently ransacked offices of Meerkovo's headquarters, the place eerily quiet for the first time in days... Empty apart from the masses of paperwork scattered all over the floor and various items of furniture the place was a mess.

Lancelot looked around long and hard knowing the place was finished, this operation was over the IRS had made damn sure of that, @Aleksandr was in custody facing a string of tax evation charges and take make matters worse the Italian government has put in for his extradition back to the old country to face bribery and murder charges, either way will be a while before Aleksandr see's the light of day as a free man again.

@Sergei who had been Aleksandr's Consigliere was able to have a private meeting with him before they carted him off to the federal jail in New York, turning to Lancelot he handed him a brown envelope "The boss's instructions Lance", looking down at the envelope Lancelot proceeds to pull out the enclosed letter and starts to read...

Lance,

As I am sure you are aware by now the situation is dire and whatever way I play it I'm going to serve time, the bastardos back in Napoli got me by the balls and I fear the US goverment will cave in to Italy's extradition requests.

I have therefore decided to step down as crew leader and hand over operations to you, the crew know you and hopefully wont be too much of a change, I know Chucky will do what he always does and get stuck right in with you so you wont be on your own, also seeing as I am not going to be needing Sergei for a while, he is now at your service as he was mine, an excellent Consigliere with a vast skill set use him well.

I will try and contact you all as and when I can, take care my friend look after the family for me.

 Lance knew things were bad but didn't quite expect things to be this bad, "There nothing we can do Sergei?" he looks at Lancelot and shakes his head "I have gone over every angle a million times, explored every loophole there is nothing even remotely plausible or possible", Lancelot pauses for thought letting Sergei's words sink in, he knew if Sergei couldn't find Aleksandr a way out no one could.

"So what we gonna do Sergei?, we need this place cleaned, we need to find another base of operations, I need to go see Godfather @Kurgan and explain what's going on and what do we tell the others?", Sergei smiled and looking as composed as ever replied "Simples! I'll take care of the cleaning, boss wants the whole lot gone anyway not even trace elements, I'll get @Chucky to scout out a new location for the headquarters, all you got to do is go see Godfather Kurgan".

With that Sergei left and with the aid of both @Dollface and @Dalora went to go track down Chucky who was no doubt lounging around with @Tomoe at his favourite cannabis plantation, boring any poor soul close enough to hear about the medicinal benefits of his very own high grade strain.

Exiting the Meerkovo headquarters for what was probably the last time before it was razed to the ground, Lancelot made his way over to @Veronia who was sat with @Viral and @Kat in the waiting car playing with some strange bondage sex toy one of them had picked up, "Ok ladies enough with the toys already, we need to head over to Godfather Kurgans mansion immediately and step on it I'm already running late", before Lancelot had even finished the sentence Veronia had slammed the car and gear and left half the tyres where we once sat.

Arriving at the Godfathers mansion the car slowly pulled up the driveway through the trees and onto the grand house, as the car pulled to a halt Lancelot stepped out and made his way up the small flight of stairs to the front door, standing there was Kurgan and @EricaWilde "So I hear the news isn't good regarding our friend Aleksandr" Kurgan enquired, "I'm afraid not Godfather which is why I need to speak to you urgently" with a nod of the head the three of them went inside and headed towards Kurgans office.

After what seemed like hours had passed a plan of action was formulated and agreed on by all, Lancelot would resume operations under a different guise and would make the transition as smooth as possible for all concerned.

From the ashes of Meerkovo we will construct a new beast one by the name of Castello di Camelot.

@Lance i have to say that im obscenely happy to see you get the nod, its been a very long time coming. My father worked with you in CH when he was alive and kicking and he knew what you did your that family. I know that you have been the backbone of that crew for a long time, a natural selection for Kurgan, if you ask me. 

I know that you'll do wonderful things over there and will only grow into something amazing. its good to see you set up a crime organisation, my friend.  If you need anything at all, im only a few hours away on a plane.

It will be an honour to have you stand beside me in the Loop and wish you all the best, I will see if i can get my best man to cut a deal for Alexsandr and get some time off for him.

Kurgan was furious about this situation and had some of his people looking into it he had a feeling there was a rat behind this. Though Lancelot he knew would be more careful and with operations moved they could better prepare and grease the palms of the right people, Kurgan had made sure this would run smoothly for Lancelot and had sent out the bribe money to make sure things would.

Still thinking about how sad it was that Aleksandr was off and imprisoned she gets out of the car and sits patiently against the door of the car waiting for the right opportunity and the news that everything was ready to be set for the new HQ. 

Im really pleased that everything can be moving forward as i will be thoroughly thrilled and happy that Sir Lancelot can help train and arm us with him at the helm of this operation.  I look forward to many of great things and hope to be fitted with armor and continue to serve him and Chicago.

Just as i was going to force her into the back of the car, Sir Lancelot and Boss EricaWilde were at the doorway. Veronia whispers to Viral to behave as she lets go of her and asks her to get into the car.
