I remember when Deces of the Whisper Shores once went to a party dressed as Santa. Inside, there were Presents under the Christmas tree and Stockings hanging by the fireplace. On the table, a small wooden Reindeer was standing there next to the sculpture of singing Carolers. It would be another Murder Brooklyn around Chrismas time, but BrotherHec prevented all from doing that to me. One of those regular Christmas Memories |

Deces was minding her own business when a lowly thug came up to her asking her for some money. "I don't just hand out money, why don't you take this to 3248 South St, don't worry about what is in the present, just deliver it to the Shores and take 10% of the cash they give you. Then bring the rest of the money back" Johnny wasn't very familiar with Brooklyn so he had to ask for directions. Johnny noticed a Santa, looking haggard with a bottle in his hands, snow caught in his hair, hauling around a sack of presents. Johnny decided that this wasn't a great idea, but it was a quick idea, so he asked for directions. "HO HO HO", exclaimed Santa, "You see my elves over there?" Johnny nodded. "Just go to that intersection and take a left. Down about two blocks you should see come carolers huddled around a fire, once you get there take a right." Johnny could smell cheap whiskey on his breath, but still continued to listen. "Go three or four blocks and it should be on your left". Johnny thanked the drunk Santa and started to walk towards the elves. When Johnny got near the elves he noticed one was naked dancing around. "Must be some bad drugs those elves are taking right now", Johnny thought to himself. As he continued to the left he saw the carolers Santa had mentioned as well. He noticed in that fire they were cooking something that resembled a reindeer. "Demonic little things, aren't they?" Johnny thought. As he walked past one leaned entirely too close and whispered in his ear; "We're giving away stockings later at my place". This perked Johnny's attention, but as the light showed the woman's teeth, Johnny started to walk a little faster. Johnny arrived at the house with no more incidents. As he knocked the snow started to really fall. A well dressed man opened the door, looked Johnny up and down, and silently reached out his hands to take the package. Johnny gave it to the man and took the envelope as the door shut in his face. "Rude fuck, it's Christmas time". Johnny counted the money and took his take out of the cash. Johnny turned around and there stood Deces. "You scared the shit out of me, what's up?" Deces just smiled and asked Johnny if he wanted a ride, it was cold out so Johnny thought it would be a good idea. As they were driving, Deces with her constant smile, asked Johnny, "You're not a grinch, are you?" Johnny finally smiles and say "No, just a rough time of year." Deces just smiles and tells the driver to go back to the HQ. As they drive they pass all the Christmas lights, the Christmas trees, carolers, and all the festivities for this time of year. Johnny knows they are in the nice part of town at this point. Johnny is surprised to see the size of the HQ Deces has, and as she leads him down the large corridor with garland lining the hall. She sits down at a massive dark brown oak desk. "Have a seat Johnny". Deces gives the envelope full of cash to Johnny. "You didn't need money, you could have had all of that and I would have never known, you need a family." Johnny smirks. "We've been having some trouble with the folks in Manhattan, I need a message sent." Johnny thinks he knows what she is speaking of. "I've seen the weeds you're talking about. I think I have an idea of what needs done, I'm on it." Johnny gets up and turns to walk away, Deces notices the glare off of Johnny's side piece. Deces stands up and halts Johnny. "No murder Johnny, it's too easy." Johnny sees the type of leader Deces is, and understands how she handles he business. Johnny tips his hat and walks off. |
