I have no idea if this is an good idea or not, but in my opinion it should be part of it. I mostly want it when you mug someone they could get injured and so they get taught an lesson. Reasons 1- It would make an punishement for being an little shit and pping you then fleeing like many players on Mr do. Also the injury can range from light to severe making it range on how long you are injured. 2- It adds more realism to the game and just an cool idea! |

Can you give examples of some of the injuries and what actually happens when you are that leveled of injured? |

I think that the extended timer for both pp and travelling you inflict on the thief, together with a reasonable amount of their money on hand is enough injury inflicted on the culprit. Besides you suffer no real damage yourself when you're PPd other than the loss of $5000 at most. So no need making the game unfair and unnecessarily dangerous, when you suffer no pain from PP |

Pick Pocketing has been something that did not have an effect on one's "health" so that it was not discouraged by the leadership as it has been in the past. If you introduce a physical aspect to mugging then once again you will have leaders discouraging, not banning, pick pocketing/mugging in an effort to protect their members from physical harm if they are mugged. You already lose your cash, have your flight timer reset, and have a chance of losing your gun do we really need to take something that is "harmless" and make it so there is a chance your character will suffer physically and have the mug feature discouraged by leaders (incurring the wrath of the administration for not encouraging/allowing a game feature to be used) and players alike. I remember a time when mugging was "banned" along with "pick pocketing" and the players got in trouble for "banning game features". Doing something like this will only make that happen again. |

Wasn't mugging only discouraged back when it was much more than $5,000? And I also remember a shanking feature perhaps? Maybe that was another game, not entirely too sure. And to be quite honest, I think the mugging feature we have currently in retaliation to a pickpocket can be roleplayed as such; being injured. Like SisterMaryJane said, you lose your cash on hand, flight timer reset, and a chance to lose your gun. To me that kind of sounds like someone got beaten up and can't do anything because of it. And then you can resume on your flying and pickpocketing again, once you've healed. |

Honestly I don't know but as soon as you get mugged, you just wait till you can and PP again. That's why I think injuries could be implicated in the game. Okay maybe not major ones but one's that will only take a few days to heal. I mean it's not a penalty because I am pretty sure even with this there will be a lot of people who still do it. |

There's already a chance of losing your gun when mugged. Your flight timer is reset. You lose your money. The "RP" reason for your flight timer being rest was originally because you were healing from your injuries incurred during the mugging as far as I can remember. Is it really necessary to bring physical damage to a crime/reaction that was supposed to be purely financial so the leaders/members of the community didn't "ban" the use of this feature?0 If you don't know the answer to simple questions such as this maybe you should rethink your proposal. |

I RP the ass beating as Shadow and Mikhail have said, as you get timers reset and the potential to lose your gun. It's like you're 'injured' and healing for a period, as you can't do what you could prior. Plus the potential for gun loss and losing a big amount of cash also puts you further back if they happen, in a RP sense. I always leave a good amount of cash on me when I PP in case I do get mugged, so it has the potential for me to 'look and feel like' I got my ass handed to me... IF I get caught :) In summary, try RP it :) |
