I have decided to come out to my own little bit of street to hold a discussion of sorts.

Our streets are dying. We were once allowed to ask questions here. We could explore our ideas and see into other people's thoughts. More and more it feels like we are being told to hush. Don't speak.

Why is this? Is a question really that insulting? I mean if you ask the question itself it should not be. The worst anyone should be able to say is, "It's none of your business." They would be right.

However, to show people that they cannot speak up and ask is wrong. We can bicker about how its wrong or right, but if its just the question, is there really a wrong way? I mean sure if you were name calling.

It seems we are losing sight that this is a great place to grow ideas. It is a place to get ideas. It is a place to hear stories about other people that you may cross paths with. This stretch of road is a way to create bonds that you may not do if you consistently hide in your letters.

My line once loved the streets. Once gave the streets everything they had, but times saw to it that they were no longer able to come here. Now myself I have taken some time to watch. I have taken the time to observe. I have taken the time to have discussions privately with people about the streets. I want to say my love for the streets is current but I find I have to push myself to want to be here.

The streets is a harsh mistress. She has the ability to be something so great. She should be something so great.

Why do we not let her flourish?

What fucking streets you looking at? This is the most active they've been in a while. Good lord, you're nuts.

Moving on from that though, you had a question, I answered, yet you continued to speak until you got what you wanted which hasn't happened. An explanation about the recent Detroit take down is not even needed, why should you be informed? There is no need for you to be informed, or anyone else in the community.

It is being done because Las Vegas agreed we should let people know. Why? Because people have questions and the streets is where these questions will be answered, so why not just be patient and wait for the explanation and stop trying to force it sooner?

No one told you that you couldn't speak, they just told you to go and find another street corner to speak on. Now you have, why don't you ask me the question that you really want to?"

Disorder shakes his head in disbelief.

"Are you capable of making any different type of complaint? Every generation of your family comes out here and makes the exact same foundationless speech. Every. Single. Time.

I wouldn't mind if the point even had some validity but it doesn't. There is absolutely no basis for it. Everyone has been and continues to be encouraged to come out here and speak about whatever they like. Provided they aren't vile or abusive in the way they approach it, they can say and ask what they like. Hell, we even had Axel come out here, clearly stoned off his tits, and start making peaches about the abstract concept of time!

So honestly. Just what the holy fuck are you going on about?"

I think Ms MacKayla, you might want to take your blinders off and observe the street a bit more thoroughly before poising this question to the community. There are many such discussions where questions are asked and thoughtful debate is held here as of late. When the discussion is started in a thoughtful and polite manner there is no harshness in the response at all from the community. It is when agitators come out here to the forums with guns blazing that the community response accordingly.

Axel cracked a somewhat acceptable looking smirk after hearing Disorder. He'd probably look more comfortable if he felt it, yet it was an odd occasion to see the not so pearly whites. He then addressed the topic.

"Definitely a little corner of your own street you must be referring too, as the country has been buzzing on the street level recently."

Just so I am clear: you came out onto the streets to make a speech about not being able to come out on the streets and make a speech because you are told to hush and to say that people are no longer allowed to ask questions here and then ask everyone the question why is that?

I for one am loving the street communications at the moment - people are hearing that disagreeing is ok - welcomed almost. A fresh perspective can be very enlightening.

I think what you said here is highly ironic really - I also see the irony in continuing a conversation about not being able to have a conversation here too. You were a restricted corner of the streets - a tiny corner that is used for information only that is not the same as the streets being dead.

I have to ask you a question; what the actual fuck goes through your head? the streets ate better than they have ever been. no matter of your beloved mr oakenheart, you just look stupid. there isnt a single person in this land that would support your notion that the streets dead.

I can see what you are trying to do, but you have been to early in your approach and people can see through it. you just look stupid and thats all i can credit yout silly speech with.

Bender was floating through the streets, lifting watches and wallets galore as per yuzh... He didn't care for spontaneous street performances but appreciated the opportunities they always provided to make a fist full of dorrah.

He wasn't paying much mind to what was drawing the pockets he was picking in abundance, until he heard the shrill and whining tone which seemed to leave windows with cracks through them, turned peacefully sleeping babies into screaming fitting babies and everyone else cringing the same they would if someone had raked their nails down a chalkboard.

"Now, I'll admit how easily I'm about to make myself look like a plonka, but I'll risk it on this occasion. Without hearing ANYMORE than these two lacking in factual basis statements and absolutely refusing to allow any more of this crapola into my eardrums... I'm going to go ahead and say 'on behalf of, lots of people. Okay, just some? okay, at least on my own behalf... 'I just can't even."

Bender face palms himself. Clanking a thick wedding band he had snatched and attached to his middle finger, off the tiara he thought he'd see if he could pull off wearing casually in the crowd

"I was going to explain the birds and the bees to you, and give you a first grade science lesson on the difference between things that are alive, and inorganic matter such as concrete. Y'no, point out that things like metal and stone don't actually live and as such don't die. However, you'd probably fail to see the humour, would take it literally and then complain about how when you come here with this rehashedbrowns dead horse manure, that I'm just like the jackboot keeping you down... maaaaan. Or whatever it is you likes to tell yourself to make you feel like you're some how teh rebel who's gonna "tear it all down!" or something.

Bender kneels down and whispers to a lil boy standing next to him. He then tucks a $10 he stole from someone else in the crowd into his lapel pocket and pats him on the noggin. The boy runs over and wraps his arms around the flustered and almost teary eyed MacKayla in the hopes of making her feel loved and welcome to the streets.

Bender waves as he walks off, feeling good about his decision to sport the tiara. He felt he totally rocked it.

What the fuck is this utter trash you're spewing, you dumb dumb doll? Barely forty-eight fucking hours have passed since one of the "great" speakers of Detroit passed and you start making generalizations of how the world has changed. Your finger is far from on any sort of pulse of any sort of living creature or being (because they generally run). Shut the fuck up and stay in your place already, which should be below made given the thick headed mouth on you. TheGoldenGod has spoken. 

BCP nods and agrees 100% with all the comments made but the one who started this discussion. Trying to figure out what if anything was missed by some he can't find any. But since he was standing on this milk crate with everyone staring at he begins to talk.

I wish I could say I disagreed with what anyone has Said. I sadly cannot. I wish I could add something that was over looked or a oversight and see where this point came from but I sadly cannot. I guess maybe from her own personal experience maybe, but as a lot of journals show this has happened from the same bloodline way more then once. Now I know not everyone can see if these streets are more or less active if your bloodline was newer. But for many of the bloodlines, including the starter of this topic, they are very much alive. So its kinda puzzling where you got this from. Now don't get me wrong, we all love a retrend topic "What is Respect,OMG a PP happened I hate you all, ect ect" but really this one. As clearly they are not dead. The streets are very much alive it seems. My suggestion would be to dig up some other retrend topic that was been spoken on since forever and a day ago and try that, not the one scapegoat topic your bloodline tends to always use. And in this case, sadly doesn't actually apply.

MacKayla , please chill out, listen to some music, enjoy life. AND FOR FUCK SAKE STOP POSING STUPID QUESTIONS EVRYWHERE!. I am suspecting you of knowing the responses to your own questions. Don't say what I say is intimidation or LV ways too, i am in bad mood today.
