The air was chilly as Olympia, @Chabal and @Jimmy_Smith exited the Headquarters of The Sanctuary. They made their way down the long sidewalk and through the tall gate to the car that was waiting outside to take them just a few blocks away to the Headquarters of the House of Pain. Or at least what used to be House of Pain..

She had been avoiding this for most of the day, because the thought of it made her sad, but she wanted to see how things were progressing.. She knew a moving crew would arrive shortly to help move things out of the building, but she wanted to see how it was going first-hand. She knew that she'd see a few confused faces of people packing their belongings from the HQ when she unlocked the door and came in, but that was to be expected with what had transpired that day. And, with Fist-O-Pain retiring, it left a massive hole in Pasadena that needed to be filled..

When they arrived in front of the building, they all quickly got out of the car and made their way to the door. Olympia knocked twice before slipping her key into the lock, opening it and going inside. Chabal and Jimmy followed, and they scanned the front room of the HQ. She loved what Fist-O had done with the place, and she thought it really wouldn't need any redecorating.. Unless of course the person that took over thought it needed to be done.. Everyone wants their Headquarters to be to their liking!

After the brief tour of the whole building, including the back yard and the member apartments, she nodded at Chabal and tossed him her set of keys (she secretly had another key in her office back at The Sanctuary). All three were standing in the back yard, and she looked from Chabal to Jimmy with a big smile on her face as Chabal began to speak. He said, "As Olympia said earlier today, there is now a huge gap in Pasadena.. This building here will soon be empty, and we need someone that can take over the operations here.."

He paused to look around, then continued, "Jimmy.. We think that person is you. We truly believe that you are the man that will help build Pasadena up even further, and help us strengthen as a district and a city."

Olympia looked at Jimmy_Smith as his face brightened, and she said, "I have had faith in you since you walked through the doors of The Sanctuary, Jimmy. This is your chance to show me that you can do this. I already know you can.. I just want to see it in action. I know you'll do right by me.. I have no doubts about that. And I know you would never let any of us down! So.. What do you say? Are you up for the task?"

She smiled as Jimmy scanned his eyes over the back of the building, the apartments, the fences, the dogs running around.. She watched as he slowly nodded and then said that he was definitely up to the task. 

Chabal tossed the keys to Jimmy, who jingled them around in his hand. Olympia took a moment to take in Jimmy's bright smile before walking over to him to give him a quick hug. As she backed away towards where she had been standing, she said, "That's what I thought you'd say! So.. What'll you call the place then?"

Jimmy finally emerges from the dust and the final cleaning down of the newly renovated HQ, stops and turns to the newly erected sign above the entrance, standing next to Olympia and Chabal, looks up

“Smith & CO”

Welcome to all, men woman, some weirdo’s… As the lovely Olympia has mentioned, today is a great day for me to be setting up and running the newly formed “Smith & CO” in the great district of Pasadena.

I vow to help make Pasadena and LA even greater along with Olympia and the other heads.

I am thankful for the opportunity and now declare Smith & CO officially open!

Breaks a bottle of champagne on the front door, cursing because he forgot to pour some first, grabs another bottle from the case, pours 3 glasses and hands one each to Olympia and Chabal

After they had headed back inside, and then out through the front door, Olympia watched as Jimmy faced the gathering crowd, addressing them. She smiled and scanned over the curious faces, and clapped excitedly with them all when Jimmy was done speaking and had announced Smith & CO.

She laughed as Jimmy smashed a bottle of Champagne against the door, then accepted the glass he handed to her after opening the second bottle. She clinked her glass against the two guys' glasses and said, "Cheers to Jimmy, Pasadena and the great city of Los Angeles!"
