I'm trying something a little different here based on some conversations regarding incorporating the dice system with role playing.

The business is in the LA Business District and the whole theme is to role play a bank robbery, yet using dice bets beforehand to determine your success or failure.

For the first week the successes will be issued credits instead of the monetary value listed in the BA thread (found as a clickable link in the business itself or below).

For the first 72hours all successful bank robbery attempts will be paid out with 2 credits.

All unsuccessful attempts will receive 1 credit.

(make sure you read the rules and FAQ first to understand what is successful and what is unsuccessful)

At the end of the week I'll gift the top 25% of all role plays (determined by an impartial voter, might be a fury animal's paws).

StripheGotti's Chicago newspaper team have also issued a rather seemingly impossible task to get the BD's pumping, starting with LA. This business is also an attempt to see if the criteria they have given is in fact a little too hectic, or somewhat doable :)

Hopefully this will help them indirectly suss the system further and potentially tweak it so the competition gets some legs, as I'm a big advocate of having a thriving BD environment across the six cities.

Ok, ok. Let's kick this up a notch then.

The first person to successfully rob this bank will get 30 credits. Win 3 consecutive 10k 'TOPS' dice bets against me, role play the successful bank robbery in the bank thread and it's all yours.

The current rules also state you can only attempt to rob it (dice and role play) once every 72 hours. Let's change this to 24 hours also till someone succeeds. 

If you don't win 3 consecutive dice bets and still role play the unsuccessful attempt in the bank thread, you'll receive 5 credits.

No gimmicks. No bullshit. Just a little dice and some LA role play love. ;)

Unfortunately for Jaryll this is the worst attempt at a bank robbery so far. Fortunately for those that do visit downtown Los Angeles it's one hell of a role played attempt. If anything, check out the bank for a good read. 5 credits go to the man for his efforts.

Simple as mother fucking pie! First successful robbery attempt to the one and only, Conn! As soon as he drops his illustrious role play in the bank in LA he's got 30 credits coming his way. Not a bad haul. Not a bad haul at all!

Ohhh 2 bank personal weren't having none of it! I wonder what happened? Hopefully the story hits the tabloids ala a role play in the bank thread itself. If so, an easy 400k ish via a credit. Still easy pickings if you ask me.

Maybe a second or third time is a charm, like what happened to Conn, the first to successfully rob the joint blind. It took him a second effort, maybe this is the trick?

Christmas Update!

Due to the busyness of the holiday season an influx of money and gold made it's way into the vault at The Hollywood National Bank of Los Angeles.

Moving forward and until things simmer down, attempted robbery payouts will be as follows: 

• 3 credits per dice bet won (bank staff subdued) in a robbery attempt (1 dice win = 3 credits / 2 dice wins = 6 credits / All 3 dice wins = 9 credits).
• A bonus gift for all Successful Bank Robbery, on top of the 9 credits.
• These payouts are on top of and in addition to what's listed in the rules.

Rules are basically the same yet have been updated slightly.

It was a great start to the attempted felony, yet something went wrong. An injury from a previous attempt, perhaps? Who knows, hopefully the local LA gazette can clue us in on what actually went down.

Dalora the magic explorer! Out of the top hat with something Houdini like, or maybe it was destined as the second time was more than a charm. Just like Conn, she's going on the bank wall as one of LA's most wanted criminals.
