i think you guys should make an app on facebook but link it in to your site it would get you more people playing and easier acess for some people any thoughts?

I think that it would have many plifting features, but the problem lies with IP sharing and dupe accounts. This would skyrocket. If that could be fixed, them everything shouldbe fine.

yea true lol forgot bout dupes but it would bring a bigger audiance

Whilst I agree with you about the app bringing a lot of people, Stracci is correct about the dupes - And the trade-off would not be worth it.

MafiaReturns does have its own facebook page ( http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2208532850&ref=ts ). The best thing to bring people to the site would probably be to suggest the website to all your friends using the handy 'Invite people to join' button. Either that or just paste the link as your status.

Afro.

If I remember this correctly, there was a brief poll recently about who would and who wouldnt be interested in a mafia returns link to your facebook page.

I don't believe you would actually be able to play the game via facebook, but it would be like a badge on your page showing off your MR character.

While I may have the details jumbled, there was conversation on IRC and something sent about about this recently.

Falcon's got it right. I posted a poll about this a while back, but I've not been able to master Facebook code. The basic idea is to have your MafiaReturns profile--somewhat truncated--visible on your facebook page.
