Deciding where money goes. Started by: Honesty on Dec 23, '16 17:34

So, as many of you know, when you sell credits on the market and someone buys them, the money goes into your bank. When you gamble, say, in the 10k harty, the money goes into your in-hand cash pile. Same thing with Dice and drug deals and many other things.

What I propose is a small change in the general options (Maybe there?) or somewhere else that let's us choose where we want the money to go directly. Here're some ideas as to what this feature can do / look like:

  • You open up the page and you see a list written: Drugs, gambling, market, etc...
  • When you open gambling, say, you will see a a dropdown menu or another list with the different gambling games. When you choose dice, for example, maybe a pop-up menu asks what percentage of all your winnings will be going into your bank, while the rest goes into your hand.
    • So, if I write 10% for dice and then I win 100k in dice, 10k will go into my bank and the rest of the money will go in my held cash pile.
  • This will apply also to marketplace and drug dealings; put a percentage of what you want saved into your bank while the rest goes in-hand.
  • This could also be used for achievement money
  • This could also be used for OCs, petties and felonies.
  • By default, the money will be going where it does as it is now.

The reason for this is the following:

  • I could be saving a portion for taxes
  • I could be saving a portion for BGs
  • I could be saving a portion for donations
  • Etc...

I'm suggesting this because I want my bank to be or at least in part be a place where all fees I to pay goes to or any money I want to save up goes to and when I see my money on hand, I know this is everything I can spend and since this is automatic, I don't have to always deposit or withdraw money I need/don't need and I think this can be of use to other people as well.
