Forgive me if this question has been asked already, but I couldn't find it in the list myself.

I often run into this issue whenever I'm locked up in prison, and I get to make my one phone call. The game decides who you call, and often they choose either a low ranked player who, when he tries to break me out gets locked up as well. Or the game chooses someone who is AFK (away from keyboard).

This usually isn't a huge issue when there are a lot of people online, because you'll be busted out in no time. However during times when there are hardly any people online I often find myself serving the full 10 minute sentence. And yes I understand you can snitch your way out of your sentence, but let's put that aside.

How about we get to choose who we make our phone call to?

I could get behind this, but I would proposition a fee be added on if you want to make a 'specialized' call. Nothing harsh, maybe 15-20k, just enough to offset the convenience factor + another small way to filter money out of the game.

or perhaps a pre-determined "next of kin" style call this guy feature in options?

An option would be nice, for role play purposes too.

I see a small problem with this, in some cases if could reveal people in your city that you can't see in your locals... So if anything, it should give you a list of online people in your city you can see in your locals and no more.

Or maybe members of your own city that are in the same city as you at that time.
