BrotherHec walks into the middle of the street. He starts his speech as he would every letter to his people. Dear....Regime, At the recent passing of so many members BrotherHec holds back his tears and stares out at the end of the road. It would appear he to had reached the end. From here on, i wish to make my last address to you all. It is to be a public one because i know many of you have already died. Deces, my good friend and Godmother was taken in this war. Betrayed by one of the people she trusted the most, Palerider and his friends. Could i say i was shocked? No. Not in the least. We knew this life would eventually come to this. We have wanted it for so long: Death. Unfortunately we didnt want it to end like this. Cut down and betrayed. No matter what future sources tell you believe me when i share with you, we were next. One of the hardest parts about being a crew leader is watching your people die one by one. One of the more difficult parts is knowing that those who are alive too will die. It pains me to say this but i always knew it would end this way. I was not the crew leader you deserved. You deserved someone with a higher activity rate. A bigger gun. Someone who spent more time in this world. unfortunately i was not that person. BrotherHec sighs. Allow me to collect my thoughts and wish those of you a future by saying you are the best crew i had. Your activity and your desire for me to succeed was wonderful. I shared personal and vulnerable situations with all of you. You all are amazing people. For those of you who never reached the rank of made man i wish to share with you what you would have went through. It was an honor for me to create such a ceremony. BrotherHec lays out a paper. Reminding people what they signed for.
I will be proposing to my girlfriend. I will graduate college. I will continue to lead a life that so many of you vocalized your inspiration about. Whether you were one of my people trying to build a bar on the beach or going through a divorce. Whether you are getting your college degree or trying or running several businesses, i want to encourage you to never give up on your dreams. Believe! You were meant for good things. This run, we survived a lot. We have fought a lot. I am so proud of all of you. Thank you for allowing me the honor to serve you as your crew leader. For allowing me the pleasure to being someone who fought side by side with you, hearing your real life stories and speaking with you on the phone. I wish you all the best. I apologize that i never reached the rank of Godfather or as i had hoped it would be: God brother. Deces, Godmother. You did great. I always supported you. I always believed in you. Do not be discouraged. You lead an incredible city. You brought to life a desert. You fought for your friends, you shot first to save Senza, you never gave up on anyone. I am proud of you. Thank you for being so desiring of all my services. Slash, BobbyMunson, Kurgan, Senza, Curiosity. My closest friends. Thank you for allowing me to learn and grow alongside of you in this life. An absolute treasure and honor to know you. I hope my suit pays you all wonderful homage. I wish i was able to avenge everyone of you. BrotherHec looks down at the street. The gutters began to roll red with blood. He smiles and looks up to heaven. He decides its time to end his speech by the way he would close every letter. Yours Endingly, BrotherHec |

While much of what you say is true there BrotherHec, you're a little sparse on the details.
You say you were betrayed. Some would argue you were planning to attack other cities out of fear/paranoia/a belief they would eventually attack you. That's fine, sure, it's part of cosa nostra. But when it blows up in your face and you execute it poorly, blaming the people who didn't want to go along with a questionable plan isn't really a great exit strategy.
You had a great run. I'm confident you've done your family and your bloodline proud and it's something that will go into the history books for all your future kin. But don't sully the memory by not taking it on the chin when a move to attack others explodes in your face. Your memory deserves better than that. |

Yes, Shaggy. Respect always in this thing of ours. We're respectable businessmen. We're men of honour. And if we're not? Well we damn well should be. Well, that, or we're women... but that's normally just on a Tuesday for many. Your disrespect dishonors you, your family line and the memory of all those that have fallen in cosa nostra. I'm sorry for your fathers loss, I'm sure it's a difficult time, but don't let it lead to your loss to.
Adriana. I believe some may already have been hit over the side of the head? Some things you said don't quite make sense my dear? "way before we did"... I'm not sure what 'we' you're referring to. Given that you're fresh off the boat I'm guessing you could be referring to the family of your mother? But that's not very clear. If so, I'd be interested to hear what great insights or information she had that we ourselves seem to be unaware of. We had information on protection shots, sure. We had witnessed many of them. We also had people who had been invited to be part of an attack come to us, provide details of it and assure us they had no interest of wish to be any part of it. You'll notice none of the leaders involved have had their kin come out and dispute what I have said there for a very good reason, they all know it's true. Now ignoring the fact that nobody here has ever mentioned anything about protection shots. Ignoring the fact that nobody, yourself included, has disputed the reasons for the death of families in LA that fell last night. My sincere condolences to all on the losses there. I'd love to know about all of these protection shots you seem to be aware of but I missed? Can you shed some light on it? I've heard it mentioned now a few times and we really are curious about it. There's a thing in our world called knowledge. Knowledge is a very powerful thing. Some don't have it and tend to dismiss its importance. That's a terrible mistake. Others do have it and would never dream of dismissing its value. Which one would you consider yourself to be? One member of Chicago and Las Vegas took one protection shot between the hours of us removing PoisonousJelly, God rest his poor Mancunian soul, and us becoming aware of an impending attack. One. That person had a very good reason to. Hell, some might say that person had one hundred and fifty odd million reasons to. *Winks at the gathered crowd. Realises very few are getting the reference and sighs heavily* There was reason to believe an attack might have been planned on just that one person, so action was taken. On investigation, it was proven to be little more than an idiot trying to stir the pot and cause aggrevation where trouble didn't really exist, but we weren't going to take any chances and risk letting the world fall into further disorder *again winks to the crowd hoping someone finally got his references. But still, nothing*. So again I'd love you to clarify about all these protection shots we had been receiving, which amounts to a grand total of one for a very valid reason, and let us know how in the hell it has any relation to the point that some members of LA were planning to mount an attack? |

You're quite right, it is. The school is just a little further down and around the corner. Perhaps you might consider spending a little more time there? It can do wonders for your education you know. |

| i knew the deceased a little. My father took him to do over a couple of art galleries. Then he shot him in his sleep for no reason except paranoia about where he came from. Can't really find a lot to respect there. If you don't understand that, bud, I'd be quite happy to educate you. May take a while though. | |

I understand perfectly. I just disagree with you on what's acceptable behaviour in cosa nostra and what, quite clearly, isn't.
You'll notice I didn't say the deceased was perfect, I didn't say they got ever call right... going so far as to point out a quite major fuck up they made that ultimately led to their death... and I didn't say you had to respect or like the man. He shot a family member of yours, you're quite entitled to be pissed about you.
You are not however allowed to come out to our sacred streets and then piss on a grave. It's about the most ignorant act you can do and in this thing of ours is considered a crime worthy of death. We choose the life we live. We know it has risks and we know it can lead to our death every day. Crying about "no reason" and "paranoia" is nonsense. Your father was a criminal. He was killed for his criminal activity, regardless of the details of it. You can take it on the chin and move on or you can come out here and degrade yourself while making yourself look like a fool. Quite honestly I don't care much which option you take, the only person it will impact upon is yourself.
Now.... what was it you were so kindly going to educate me on? I'm all ears. |
