I played Global-Syndicate years and years ago..  Last I heard was that the creator was called up to go to Iraq.

Has anyone heard any news since then?

Did anyone else play?

I used to play. I was Romeo.

Whatever happened to it?  And Vlad?

A lot of the older players would have tried GS for a while. There was a period where old .org went down and a good few would have tried it out. A lot of the old GS'ers, like myself, still knocking around as well. It was on GS that I first used 'Satanta' and after a decent run it kinda stuck.

The game was being worked on again, got fairly far in development and a good bit of closed beta testing done (that was very impressive), but no sign of it returning just yet. I know Wlad was busy running a successful business and with further tours of duty not easy to keep everything moving along as he might have liked. There is a facebook page that he updates if/when working on the game, so probably your best bet if looking for more information.

I remember .org going down..  that might've been when I started playing GS.  I remember when .org came back and had changed with new features.  Not been on that in ages..

Anybody heard anything aobut GS?

I hope Vlad's OK, I knew he was in Iraq.

Funny you mention this as I found a screen shot the other day of my news and in it there was a note about Santos killing someone he shouldn't :P

Who did santo's kill?  I got killed once by someone with a similar name...  Unfortunately for him, I knew there was only him and me in that city at that time

Ahhh I miss GS.

Was a good game, could have been great if ya know, Admins weren't so corrupt and all (Looking at you here Kev)

Speaking of Santos...if you are talking about Rico...I haven't heard from him in a year or so. Kinda worried about him. Anyone still in touch with him?

I Remember GS... santos.. all of them...

I loved GS. Was a fun game to play and I met some great people there.
