Richard inhaled deeply from his cigarette, anxious about the events to come. He pondered how they got here. First it was the drug trade, Vin wacking that Russian schmuck's son and stealing their Heroin. Then the kids father called Vin to threaten him. I walked in to Vin's office to invite him out for drinks, and it went from there. Now he's here, he thought grimly. Waiting outside this shitty warehouse for the men inside to get their vests and guns ready. The plan was simple for such a complicated problem, which left him worrying. The route with the least assumptions is usually correct. Richard remembers that theory, Occam's Razor he believes it was called. And to be completely honest Richard like this plan as a hypothetical. There were many assumptions, and this was the first big operation that Vincent granted Richard the authority to carry out on his own. This was a big responsibility and Richard could not afford to make a mistake or fail the family. Not that any of it would matter if he failed anyway, if he failed that meant the Russians killed him. there were many assumptions made in this mission. Most of them Richard made himself and that only made him more anxious. A lot of things could go wrong, they could trick us, we could be walking into a trap, we could get caught and slaughtered, the carbomb could go off and kill us before we even left the warehouse. Any of these were possible. And a few of them likely, that's what scared Richard the most, but he would not let Vincent down. He took one long last drag off his cigarette and butt it out on the wall behind him. It was a cold night, way too cold for Richard's tastes, but hopefully it meant nobody wandering outside while they are there and catching them with their pants down. The warehouse they were staying in was previously abandoned, so it goes without saying the inside of the building was a dilapidated as the outside looked, barrels outside where the homeless had lit fires, the same ones dotted the inside as well as garbage and raggy mattresses. It was a warehouse you could expect to get mugged or stabbed in. But they didn't have a problem with the vagrants who were squatting here, none of them had guns, so they didn't put up a fight when Richard and his men took over and promised they could be back in a few hours. Richard really had no intent of catching a disease from a dirty discarded needle on the ground. So after pulling the crates and car inside he waited outside for his men to get set up.

Upon reentering the warehouse he finds almost everything ready for the assault, if you want to call it that. He had roughly 15 men, plus whoever decided to answer Vincent's call. He scans the room and sees a long table with most of their gear resting on it. He heads over and begins strapping on his gear, gloves, a scarf, a bulletproof vest and a bandanna covering the lower portion of his face, below the bridge of his nose. There is a surprising variety of guns on the table, Richard opted for a semi automatic rifle, what they use in the army. It's accurate and neater than the automatics, most others opted towards Thompsons. They all had their vests on and and bandannas as well, so Richard went over to examine the old yorker they had suited up with bombs in the trunk. Richard double checked everything, and made sure it wouldn't blow them to bits on the way there. Everything's set. So he motions for the crew to get in the car. The rest have a couple cars parked around the back of the warehouse. Richard sits and back, while someone else drives, he can't tell them apart anymore, they're just a blur of suits guns and bandannas. They pull out of the warehouse and start down the street toward the designated meet up point. Richard slumps in the back of the car, really starting to notice the lack of liquor in his system. Vaguely he wonders if he would qualify as an alcoholic. He quickly dismissed the thought as ludicrous. The ride at the moment seemed to take hours. He memorized every thread in the back of the seat he was staring at, not wanting to look out the window. Afterwards the drive only seemed to take seconds. But I suppose that's hindsight for you. Richards car finally pulled up to the meeting spot and he stepped out into the cold night air. He is glad it's cold, for tactical reasons, but for every other reason he would literally kill for some warm weather right about now. At least the cold kept his senses active, it made the streets seem less lucid and more dull and drab. The sharp wind tugged at his clothing, he was not wearing the proper clothes at all. Clad in his classic white collared shirt and black vest, he was freezing. Richard really regrets choosing style over warmth. At least he looked dashing. Upon arrival he gave the group strict orders to not leave this area and wait until he returns. With that he left. He got into one of the cars not rigged with bombs and drove off.

He was headed to a ratty apartment where the greeseball Russian mobster liked to have his affairs, he wasn't very discreet, Richard tailed him a few days previous and he drove to meet his mistress in a black car with tinted windows, and posted guards on the exits. It shouldn't be much trouble to get it. He was going to bring Anton, his loyal sidekick, but they needed all the men they could get in case they were attacked. He didn't need them he was confident he could do it by himself. This was the easiest part compared to what they had ahead of them. Richard zoned out for most of the drive there. He was lucky he didn't hit anything. Upon arriving in the neighborhood the apartment was located, Richard parked his car a block away from the building to keep the element of surprise on his side, he walked the res of the way, by all means it wasn't a long walk but it felt like ages, his face was red and stinging by the time he got there. He leaned on a wall at the end of the block, too dark for the men to see him. He pondered his options. He went through them in his head on the drive over, as with any situation resembling this, there was the direct course of action and the hidden course of action. The direct course would be to shoot the two guards out front and assume there were no more inside, or waiting not far off, and to assume the Russian horndog wouldn't flee immediately, and to assume he would be stupid enough to stay and fight. The hidden approach assumed there were no guards around back, and that there was a way to get into the building undetected. Option two had less assumptions, so that's the one he chose.

He started walking around the back of the building and broke into a jog when he was confident nobody saw him. He turned the corner and tripped over a rock sticking out of the pavement and slammed into a trashcan, causing him to fall on his face 15 feet away from a very startled bodyguard taking a piss. At that moment there was only one thing running on repeat through his mind. 'I hate assumptions'. Richard quickly got his feet under him and pushed forward, driving his shoulder into the mans chest right when he put his 'package' away. Richard thanked whatever gods were listening he took the time to. They both tumbled to the ground sprawling onto the rough, dirty gravel. Richard was the first to get his bearings, he pushed himself to his feet and drove a punch with all his weight into the mans jaw, causing him to loos his balance and stumble forward. The bodyguard recovered and drove his knee into Richard ribs, and attempted to draw his gun. Richard rolled onto his side, winded and used the last of his strength to launch a kick into the kneeling mans chest, successfully sending him onto his back, Richard got to his feet and immediately caught a rock in his gut, making him double over from the sharp pain, the man tried to stand but Richard stumbled forward and delivered  a hard kick to the face with the heel of his boot, catching him in the nose, effectively incapacitating him. The force from the kick made Richard stumble backwards. Steadying himself on the nearest dumpster, Richard took the time to catch his breath. 'I hate assumptions' still running through his mind like a broken record. When he recovered his strength Richard looked for a way in. He had to get to the top floor and soon, there was no telling when the bodyguard was going to come to, or one of his friends would notice his absence. He scanned the alleyway for a way in. There were two options that he could think of. Entering the building from the door his unconscious friend came from, or he could possibly climb the fire escape, which would lead all the way up to the top floor. Option two once again seemed safer, who knows how many of his friends were waiting inside the door. His mind made up, Richard gazed up at the ladder jutting down from the solid iron staircase. The last rung of the ladder was just barely out of Richard's reach. With a deep sigh Richard took a few cautionary steps backward and ran toward the wall, jumping right before he reached it, trying to catch his footing on the loose brick surface, he pushed off and shot his arm out to reach the bottom rung. He barely caught it, and limply hung from the ladder, pain shooting up his arm from suddenly supporting his whole weight with one arm. He swung his other arm up and pulled himself up, climbing a few bars until he could plant his feet on the lowest rung. The cold of the metal stung the palms of his hands, giving him a few cuts. He climbed the rest of the way with much more ease. Once he reached the top, the pulled himself up and steadied himself on the railing. Richard proceeded up the fire escape thankful it wasn't one big ladder. By the time he reached the top, the fall was high enough to kill him, if he fell. What a way for his life to end after what he endured to get here. He gingerly peeked in the window and gave a large sigh of relief.

Richard opened up the window leading into the hallway on the top floor, thankful it didn't lead into an apartment. He slid inside and located the room that the Russian was staying in, the lights were on but he didn't hear any lewd noises inside, the perfect time to strike. He drew his rifle that was slung on his back, and booted the door open and smashed the butt of his gun into the womens face, muttering a genuine apology. He didn't like to hit defenceless people but he couldn't risk her screaming. He pointed his gun at the Russian, thankfully clad in a robe. He informed his he had to come with Richard. And if he screamed he was dead. He called Richard's bluff and gave an inhumane bellow, alerting the whole building to his presence. Richard swiftly drove his gun into the Russian's head, knocking him out with a sickening crack, he didn't have much time. Richard latched onto the mans leg and dragged him off the bed and out into the hallway, he heard the shouting of bodyguards on the stairs and a flash of panic hit him, he quickly shoved the unconscious man through the window onto the fire escape and followed him out. He closed the window behind him and tore the cuffs off his sleeve to use as a makeshift gag, he tied it around the Russian's mouth and dragged him down until the fire escape stopped and the ladder begun. He opened the window, which was a good 4 stories below the top floor, and shoved the man through again, Richard following close behind. He couldn't climb the ladder with a man on his back, and if Richard dropped him he would certainly perish. Richard slung the man on his back and made toward the stairs, all the bodyguards were on the top floor, and he didn't have much time until they came back down, looking for their boss. By the time he made it down and outside he heard their shouting again. Richard picked up his pace and made for his car as fast as he could, he went to the back and shoved him in the trunk. Quickly getting in the drivers seat and driving off. He made his way to the meeting spot, taking the long route to ensure he wasn't followed. Upon arriving Richard hops out and tells someone to give Vincent a call. They stared at Richard, who looked like shit, clothes torn and arms and face bloody and a bruise planted on Richard's cheek. He shouted the request again and one of the men obliged, ringing up Vincent. Richard leaned on the nearest wall and drew out a cigarette. It was split in half but he didn't care, he lit it up and took a big drag, closing his eyes. The night is still young and Richard is once again reminded of how theres' no liquor in his system.

Vincent pulled up and got out of his car he walked up to Richard "did you get him?". Richard replied with "yeah but it was a hell of a mission" Vincent laughed "I can see that. But you did Good" one of Vincents men hand Richard a beer " thought you could use this now where is he?" Vincent said cracking his knuckles

Richard opened the bottle with his teeth and drank it down eagerly. Smile creeping onto his face Richard points to his trunk and moves to open it, making sure Vincent follows. 'He's in here Vin' Richard said before opening the trunk to reveal a Russian man, with a big gash on his forehead and mouth gagged with Richards shirt sleeve. Richard lifted him out of the trunk and threw him onto the ground, hitting his face on the rough gravel.

"I'll let you have first dibs boss" Richard says with a smile plastered onto his bruised face

Vincent smiles tapping Richards back. He then picks up the man. "So let me ask you something..you still wanna kill me and my family" Vincent punches the man in the stomach having his bodyguard tie the man up and throwing him back in the trunk "we'll take him back to the Warehouse and talk to him " Vincent then closes the trunk. "So let's have the guys stay here take two with us talk to him then have them watch him as we take everything he has kill everyone who works for him then we'll kill him..what do you think?"

swaliny wrights down the adress, calls up a few guys including dafumetalhead and gets in her car. As she waits for dafu to join her she remembers the guns she has stached in her appartement. Dafu gets in the car.

first we have to drive by the house. The guys have guns, but i have a few special ones stached away for an occation like this.

They drive to her house and as she opens the secret room in her appartement, dafu is startled.

Richard leans against the car, Vincent informed him more people were coming to help with the assault. Richard was glad for that, they were spread out pretty thin, what he needed most right now was another drink, but that could wait he supposed. Richard thinks about the events to come, and smiles. Getting his ass kicked sure isn't pretty, but hell is it ever fun. Gun fights are another matter entirely. Richard loved them, they feel right. He offers Vin out a smoke while they wait for the others to show up.

DaFu was quite startled and annoyed by Swaliny's call. Last time he checked he was the one who decided in which wars they helpedz however he calmed dowm once he heard Richard needed help he jumped in his car and joined Swaliny .

After they drive to her house they get to a secret room.

Erm... What is all this stuff?

Richard pats Vincent on the back and tells him to hop in the car and follow him. Richard moves back to his car and pulls himself down into it with a groan, muscles starting to ache as the adrenaline wears off he slams the door shut, thankful for the refuge from the stinging cold. Worse now, with a missing sleeve. He jabbed the key into the ignition and turned it, car starting with a low rumble. The heat came like a wave, washing over every crack in his face, the heat itself felt weirdly cold, but with a tingling warmth at the same time. He pressed his foot on the gas and drove off, slowly at first to make sure Vincent got in his car and was following Confirming Vincent's location, Richard sped up, hoping to make it to the Warehouse as quick as possible. The ride was short enough, wanting to get there helped, he imagined. Richard pulled into the parking lot infront of the warehouse and waited for the man to open the huge metal door. When it was open enough for the car to crawl through Richard entered and turned the car off, stepping back into the cold with a wince. He walked back toward the trunk and opened it up dragging the man out and with a fir bit of struggle, tied him to the chair they had waiting. Richard bound his arms behind the chair, and his ankles to the legs of the chair. By the time he was finished Vincent was walking inside, apparently he parked his car outside. Richard greeted him with a weak smile and rested his arms on his hips, starting to feel tired, he really needed a coffee. Vincent seemed to smile at the tied up man, clearly excited to begin. Richard reminded him to call up Dafu and Swaliny to tell them the coordinates. Swaliny wouldn't want to miss this.

Richard sees Swaliny and approaches to shake her hand, glad to have someone here to help crack him, hopefully someone as enthusiastic as her would be an adept torturer. Richard mumbles greetings, and shoots her a polite smile, thanking her for their assistance. Richard pointed to the warehouse informing her that's where they kept the Russian. They started to walk toward the building, men opening the metal doors as they approach. Inside was not much warmer than outside, but it at least blocked the chill, Richard was tempted to light a hobo fire. The three of them approached the tied up mobster who apparently woke in his absence, but had men guarding him. He tried to bribe the guards with money, but they didn't budge, knowing damn well they wouldn't see a thin dime. Richard turns to the Swaliny and Vincent and says

"I'll leave the torture to you guys, I'm not very skilled in these matters." Richard says with a smirk, hoping that pleased Swaliny.

Vincent walked up to the man. "OK well see if you say your gonna kill someone you do it you don't wait until they come after you" Vincent taking out brass knuckles putting them on "See first we'll have a little fun with you" Vincent hit the man in the face" then we'll question you" Vincent hits the man in the stomach" and if you don't play ball we'll " Vincent kicks the chair knocking it over" we'll kill ya" Vincent calls one of the bodyguards to pick up the chair then Vincent beats the man until blood is pouring out of him" now we want to know where you put your money your drugs and everything you have and what's the combination to any safes you have where are thay located...got that?" The Russian man spits blood on to Vincent's face. Vincent then wipes his face" good we can have a little more fun" Vincent then gets a bat busting his knee caps with it "now you wanna talk?...if you don't my friend here will try talking to you...she's not as nice as I am" Vincent steps out of the way

swaliny sees the man sitting there as she walks in and smiles. He didn't look all that scary. She respected vincent for the fact he couldthrow some punches. And although it probably wouldn't make him talk it is fun to see. She takes a knife.

I am not that bad vincent, if he talks. She turns to the man. Ok so i know your kind doesn't think women can do anything but you will see that that is not true. she goes with her hand oven the knife. You see this knife. This is so sharp that every move on the skin leaves a mark. She slides the knife over his leg. It leves an undeep cut in his flesh. There is a funny thing about cuts. A small cut hurts the most cause the nerves are free. She makes a sign to one of her bodyguards to bring her a bottle. This is limejuice, salt and aceton. On the normal skin it doesn't do anything, but if it is dropped on an open cut. She droppes a bit on the legcut. The man crinches. It hurts. Swaliny smiles at the man. so you got a chance now to gives us what we want or you can feel the other things i got in store for you. He stays quiet. She makes another cut in his leg, pushing on the knife a bit so it cuts deeper. You know something. Every cut i make will hurt a bit more every time. Until i come to the nerves. Than it will hurt so much you will actually pass out. Sh takes out a needle. But this is adrenaline. It will make you stay awake even when you pass out from the pain. He grins at her. Do what you want, i won't talk. She smiles. That is exacly what i wanted to hear.

Report Post Tip

Wait here, don't run away. She smiles. And returns a few seconds later with a bag. In this bag is everything i need to make you talk. There is small stuff, but also a few things that i saved specially for you. she gets out a hammer and slams it on his hand. There is something funny about hand and feet. She jumps on his foot and he screams. There are a lot of little bones, so it hurts a lot when something heavy falls on it. Drops the hammer on his other foot. And cause there are so many, it keeps hurting. So now you got one hand to use to wright down every code from every safe you have and every place it is.

DaFu looks silently as Swaliny cuts the guy and breaks his hand and feet.

you know

DaFu says to the Russian as he pushes Swaliny aside

my friends here prefer torturing your body. But you're a smart man, you know we can't kill you before you talk. So first I'm gonna break your spirit... Do you know these people?

DaFu says as he points towards the Russian's family and friends who are brought in all tied up

We won't kill you before you talk Igor... Yes I know you, I know everyone you hold dear too.

DaFu notices a frightened look on the Russian's face

You wil not hurt them, cyka

The Russian shouts with a cracking voice

You're right... I won't... Swaliny , start with Natasha, his wife. If he doesn't break pump a bullet through her skull... And make sure the blood and brains hit Igor's face... If he doesn't give us what we ask for I'll decide who's next.
