You sound like President Trump... Spewing the fact you have facts that you don't actually have to distract people from the topic at hand. Or are you telling a lie about sharing alternative facts that you aren't willing to share? Have a nice day Snowflake! |

Lillith does have a point bud. It's a lost art, yet sending someone a quick 5k with a cheers message is what I picked up on when I first started here a few clicks ago. It's a great quick way to say thanks that some still do. I know I do when I get the chance. The game has become great with the in game mechanics, like, fantastic to the point you could potentially just click about and have a merry old time with mostly just the game mechanics. But, there is so so much scope for the user to interject themselves and make it a royal fuckn flush, its ludacris. So on top of the message, you can go full RP mode and send a MM with a little story or role play about how you actually escaped. No need for the game to be your only friend, cause you can have actual human interactions and role play some amazing shit off of something so ordinary as a jail break. It does require effort and the sometimes lost art of thinking outside the box, but if you ask 'how can I write this experience out myself using the games current platform' then that question will bring some cool answers :) And you can apply that to pretty much anything. MR is a unique game that gives both a browser RPG and a wrttten role play forum environment. The game mechanics are just a platform for your creative writing side to let loose. And it honestly is limitless, if you choose to flip the script and use the Imagination a little that is. I know I'd love a MM from someone on top of the general JB message. And, I have gotten them, and at times I've also sent them myself, and the experiences in all cases were awesome and well received. |

Having jb'd Lillith and gotten messages for doing so (some that weren't even complaining about wandering hands) I'm happy to confirm she most certainly does practice what she preaches. She's far from the only one. Lots of players have taken the time to spark up a quick conversation upon being busted, something that normally turns into utter chaos and carnage given that I tend to be a complete smart ass :)
As for trying to suggest any comments here are being aimed at the poster rather than the post, reread them. They're not. They're logical points explaining clear issues with a suggestion that would hurt and lessen the game rather than improve it. There's nothing personal about that. We have a great community here on MR that would happily jump in and nail someone being nasty or vindictive. I personally love the opportunity to get in a good fight every now and then if someone is being a dick. There's nothing happening here other than an idea that lots and lots of us would really dislike being pointed out as such. I'd like to thank Lillith for taking the time to do so in such a clear and eloquent fashion. |

I have to say, I agree with Lilith, John, and Nimh here. I don't think it would really add anything to the game, and as such there are features that would be much better spent time coding. |

I never said it was needed just that such a feature would be fun |

The thing is, though, is somebody would have to write the messages, and then Squishy would have to spend time coding it in. It would cause bugs elsewhere in the game, because that's how programming and networking works, and it would just be too much trouble for something people don't see anyway. |
