"Expecto Patronum.." Luna said lightly while she was lying on the ground. Her patronus, a hare, emerged from her wand and started running circles above her. She was in such deep thought and her Patronus helped her think even deeper, so she kept it going. It was running along the brick wall of the building just behind her, and then on the street beside her, it's blue-glowing feet appearing to touch the red, crumbling bricks before it completely evaporated into thin air. So she did it again. "Expecto Patronum!" The hare emerged again and she smiled, unaware that she was being watched by everyone that had once been walking but was now standing still wondering how the Hell she was doing what she was doing. She sat up innocently, the Hare disappearing once more, and took a look around, finally noticing everyone staring at her in bewilderment. Luna sat quietly for a moment, still in deep thought, before she said in her ever-so-sweet tone, "Hello everyone. I was just sitting here wondering about my purpose in this life. What am I here for? Am I here to brighten everyone's day with my great fashion choices? Am I here to be the wise one that knows the answer to almost anything and the one that can help almost anyone? Or am I just here to save everyone from the Wrackspurts that make their brains go fuzzy? I felt one flying around me just a short while ago. They're very pesky you know. But don't worry. I got rid of it!" Standing up, she giggled and continued, "I feel like I have a giant reason to be here. Helping a great family friend with her goal of being a successful crew leader is definitely one of the reasons why I was sent to this world. And she's doing a fine job might I add! To be friends with anyone that is in need of one is another reason. Protecting people from the evil that is out there in the world is yet another, and I know there is much more, but I have yet to discover it! So.." She paused, taking a look around at the people that were standing within hearing distance of her, then continued, "What is your purpose? I'm sure this is an age-old question but.. This is of course a different era we're in, and I would like to know what you all are thinking? We all have a reason for being here. Everyone has something they're meant to do. I'm not wanting to know what you WANT to do. Just what you feel like you were sent here to accomplish." |

Fuckn raging boners, another magick freak, Constantine thought as a tingle of energy flashed from his heart toward his crutch. He practiced it some, yet seeing that display made him a little more happier than he expected, and he hoped his energetic smile didn't turn into something more concrete. His form of magick was more intuitive these days, yet it did start with spells and other stuff he'd done away with. He wasn't too keen on the old pagan ways made late nineteenth century, but couldn't escape using a more spontaneous interpretation. The odd ritual was still used though. Constantine approached the wand wielder with an approving grin. "Impressive. You must work out." He said, hoping his wit wasn't lost on his audience. He firstly shook the girls hand, partly in appreciation for her display of mastery and to also see if he wasn't in fact dreaming. But mostly in gratitude for her topic of discussion. "We've seen some shit kickers about these parts recently, so this is refreshing." Constantine lit up a cigarette. His habit was what some had said would kill him, and probably was, and would, yet it was a little joy amongst a denizen of demonic shittyness. Life wasn't really that bad, but the exorcist didn't exactly exude warmth most moments; his own inner experience creating his own cold and shitty attitude. But, for now a little ray of sunshine was peeking through the clouds of 'life-sucks-balls', in the form of a cute number and her street presence. He offered her a smoke too, then pocketed the paraphernalia and went about his input. "To answer your question, I don't really know why my sorry ass is here. I just follow where I feel I need to be. There's a lot of shit stains needing to be put back in their box, and I'm attracted to that work." Constantine thought some as he looked off into the distance, then nodded a few times. "Yeah, shit stain removalists, cleaning streets of demonic posessions and general ass fuckery. Could be me new slogan. Might get a banner for that too." The odd words were wrapped in a somewhat determined tone. John gave Luna a wink then kept silent a moment. The usually lippy Brit could've went on, but chose instead to ponder if she was in fact commando under that attire. He didn't journey out here with a wand, but might leave with something resembling one if he didn't reign it in. |

She was soon approached by a rather happy looking man. His voice was smooth, almost like silk, and it made her smile. She was rather surprised by his comment about how she must work out. She replied as she shook his hand, "No, actually. I don't work out. Or maybe that was just a joke. But.. Perhaps I should start!' Poking at her stomach, she sighed and looked back up at him innocently, blushing a little and shaking her head rapidly when he extended a smoke. She said, "Believe it or not, Sir, but I don't smoke. Anything! I know. Surprising. But anyways, I'm glad to see you here, and I hope you're about to tell me your thoughts. You seem like a wise one!" She listened intently as he did indeed speak his mind. She was surprised to find out that he didn't really know why he was on this Earth except for to put "shit stains" back in their boxes. She let out her breath that she didn't realize she was holding and said, "So you are an exorcist then? That excites you? Magic excites me but I try to hold in those emotions. So see.. You have a purpose on this Earth. Ridding it of evil. Protecting people. You're a protector! And you should be very proud." Blushing again as he winked at her, she couldn't help but wonder what he was thinking. He seemed to be staying unnaturally silent and she started to fidget a bit before saying, "I'm proud to have met you today JohnConstantine, Protector of Earth." She smiled sweetly at him before turning turning towards the crowd and saying, "No one else wants to chime in?" |
