The basic idea of this is a heat level, as the name implies. Let's say, if you were to organize an MUC, JB someone with several guards, or deal large amounts of drugs, the police would catch on to you. Your heat level would start to raise. If you have a higher heat level, the chances of you getting arrested increases. I beleive this is a good idea for these resons:
1: It adds a role-play element to the game.
2: It would be able to control the flow of cash in the game further.

Possibly. But if you were good at what you did thn no-one should know it's you..
As long as it doesn't end up where .org went to and effectively caused everyone to disappear. 1 hour + jail sentences are just mental. But in theory it seems a decent enough move. |

From a roleplay standpoint, it's perfect. As Scandia said though - overexcessive jail sentences would be a nightmare. |

I never said LONG jail time. I mean the chances of you getting caught go up slightly when you do big crimes. |

You could also pay off the police for the "Heat" to die down, maybe? |

yes, and after a short time, it would go down on it's own. Like, maybe... 15-20 min? The sentence would still be the same though. |

With there being a wait time in-between crimes anyway which is effectively a 'cool-down period' I don't believe this is necessary. |
